  • NEW! Kirkland Signature Four-Piece Urethane Cover - Buy Now!

This will be some deal and where the price point should be for a multi layer tour ball.
If Costco can make minimum of 15% profit to market 2 dozens brand new 4 layer urethane covered golf balls under $30..... things to come with the golf ball industry.

First instinct I want to say Callaway, since they had been marketing the Callaway for years. It would be a natural transition for transform the OEM brand into the Kirkland brand for lower price point. They had been doing this for decades.
Then, I thought about the Nike's exit of the golf equipment segment. The manufacturer of the Nike golf ball will be eagerly looking for replacement to keep the volume roll off the end of the assembly lines. No volume, or not enough volume to at least break even, means the end of the business. So I'm voting for the Nike's original manufacturer making the Kirkland brand.... Look for the 2016 Nike golf balls for comparison, not sure which model come closer, the black RZN is a 3 piece and the NIKE RZN Platinum Golf Balls is the 4 piece urethane covered golf ball. I did not check the dimple pattern but I would not be surprised if the dimple patter is slightly modified to avoid pattern right dispute.
My vote is 'NIKE"

Apparently it was designed by Titleist. It is on the USGA Conforming Ball List:

Kirkland Signature with Signature in red
Tour Performance
colour: white
construction: 4P-SC-3c
spin rating: M-H
dimples: 360
country: KOR
manufacturer: Nassau Golf Co., Ltd.

I think the only 4 piece golf balls currently made by the Titleist is the ProV1X. with 328 dimples, where the Pro V1 has 352 dimples.
I'm curious if this golf ball feels like the ProV1X with similar construction.
I do like larger dimples for a more boring ball flight , but who knows , maybe this will be a goof golf ball to stock up with.

Somebody give a review, please, if you have ordered it.

The dimples should help determine what ball it is.... possibly an open model or rebranded model of a previous model from one of the bigs.....mg golf has done that. There is a thread on wrx about this ball that is quite a few pages long if anyone is interested in reading more about it.....lot of the thread is just talk about where, when will it be in stock.

Have not seen it in the local Costco. I thought it could be ordered on line.......perhaps ?
This price point will erase many lines of the golf ball retail business.

It can be ordered on line....not in stores yet.....there are some pics of it on wrx.

I suspect $ 30 for two dozen with free shipping is just a hook. Once they get a lot of orders and many people buying them the cost will go up and also they much add shipping. Right now it is a no brainer. $15 a dozen with a urethane cover I don't think there is any ball out there today with that enhancement. I wonder if they have a compression rating for the ball. If they had yellow I would snap some up ASAP.

Better get them now as you had predicted yourself. Regardless of the compression ratio, a 4 -piece golf ball with Urethane cover for $15 per dozen to your door ? It is a no brainer, if you have not seen a deal like this recently. I really believe this is some sort of promotional stage and agree this deal will no longer be around soon. Shipping would cost a lot these days.

Thanks for the post ode, that is a little high for my pathetic swing speed of around mid 80's. Perhaps for the hot summer months, but not for winter play this year.

Gotta believe these are a former Callaway ball, what with the hex dimple design. The Callaway ball name escapes me at the moment, but I played them when they were out and they were very nice balls. iirc, about 5-6 yrs. ago. They had them like the ProV1 & the Pro V1x, which is the 4 pc. ball for Titleist. Only bad thing about the Callaway ball at that time was the covers would scruff/shear like a potato, so if these Kirklands are the same ball, they are no bargain as one will be going thru a lot of them due to the poor covers. jmo

Par4QC it looks like some hex dimples, but callaway are all hex.....the kirkland, most are round but there seems to be some hex too, its hard to tell from the pics.

Southside seems like a good deal, but the hex soft are a surlyn/ionomer cover, not urethane, which is the reason why people are excited about the kirkland ball, especially at the current price.

The first few batches of online ordering should arrive this week.
Any real life feedback, yet ?

            I bit, I don't need balls, but for $15 a dozen I'll give them a good go.

I bought 2 dozen today. Will try to get out soon and report back.

not on the Costco Canada site...sigh...
