Today, I get to head back down to Palm Springs/ Indio area and pick up a trailer, and all the good stuff from the horse show that we left 2 weeks ago. The virus that is running rampant there is causing the closure of the show, nobody can get new horses in, and I don't know if those there are able to leave without a vet check for the virus. So, it's clean up day today.
Unfortunately,I won't be able to golf today or mess with a buddy. He lives right off the #2 green, he finds balls in his yard almost every day. He was telling me about how he found a couple in his back yard and has no idea how they got there. Hole 2 is listed as being about 90-95 yards at the most uphill, not only does he live at the end of that hole, his house is across the street with another 10-15 yards of hill and rosemary bushes between the green and the street. I have yet to see someone clear those bushes and hit the street. To mess with him, I drive by his house (tight on the corner) and I toss an old crappy ball in his backyard. I think I need to step it up and grab a few range balls and deposit those in his backyard for a laugh.
