Bravopilot Dad was in the Navy (30 years). He grew up in New York City and couldn't wait to get out. Joined the Navy as soon as he could, married my mother on his first leave, and lived on or near bases around the country until he retired. Plan was to set up shop in the Millington, TN area since that is where my mother liked it best. But 6 years into retirement my mom died from cancer, and not loving the humidity of the southeast, he up and resettled 90 miles north of Las Cruces where he happily spent the last 34 years of his life. I married a local woman that refuses to move and so I've been staked to this place (Memphis area) since 1991. Wasn't planning to retire here, but it looks like I will if I make it that far.
