azgreg Have a chance to hit this yet?

Not yet…the past two days have been a blur with traveling for kiddos sports.

Plan is to head down to the range and give it a session later today after I get some yard work completed…

I'm still trying to get the top of my bag settled.

Black Ops has the driver spot. TA Atomic 3w is set.
Then I have an Atomic 5w. I hit the 3w great, and the 5w sucks. It can go 160, it can go 200.
Then I have an old TM Rescue Mid 22. I hit it well, but distance is the same as my 5 iron (24).

So, I shafted up the old Maltby TS2 4i (21) and bought a PXG 17 hybrid. Let's see if those fill the gaps better.

Got to have a hybrid in there somewhere, as the home course has kikuyu grass and the hybrid roll is required.

VigilanteTrail Nawww…you could hit it…it’s just a new PXG Black Ops 4 iron at standard loft.

Fixed it.

5 days later

Built a Wilson Launchpad Hybrid with a Matrix Kujoh for the Mrs. as a donation to a charity auction for a friend of hers.

I rebuilt my 7 iron after having the head come off on the 3rd tee box last weekend. I'm pretty sure I used JB Weld on this set. This is the 4th club that the epoxy has failed. Luckily, I didn't need it for the rest of the round.

Finally got around to putting together the 0211 (original one) 10.5* driver head I bought from @sdandrea1 with Diamana ahina 70. Once I got over trying to pulverize it and pulling it left, I hit some really nice drives with it.....and fairly long. It reminds me of the Ping G LS Tech that I played for a season plus and really liked. Very similar shape and feel!

ode I still play mine...rotating between 3 similarly feeling shafts. I wonder if I'm leaving a few yards on the table sometimes, but when I'm swing well I'm out there with the younger guys I play with at times so I keep hitting it. I think I like the Fuji Pro XLR8 the best,

backinit I had no range time and went straight to the tee box. First drive was a push. #2 pull, #3 slight pull, #4 slight push, #6 slight pull, #8 pull, #9 pull, and then I calmed down, #11 up the right side of fwy nice baby fade, #14 slightly thin but down the middle, #15 up the right side baby fade = perfect, #16 up the right side, and #18 up the left w/ baby fade . After #1, mostly centered up or slight miss towards the toe. It's not as forgiving as my e722, but good enough. Nice ball flight. We will see re: the left miss, which is no bueno, but shaft / head combo produced a good ball flight, the pulls were just that no low left hooks. #2 was the worst of the lot but playable, all the others were inside the tree line but in the rough, so playable.
