DonM I think that if I could find the right armlock for me
What I did different then what is mentionned in guides and youtube videos to convert a belly into an armlock, is that I measured the required angle the shaft needed to slant in order to press my left forearm. I did put the putter centered in belly position with the shaft vertical and measured the space between the butt end and my forarm when gripped normaly. That was 4.5". The putter being 42", I did the measurement at 41" and that gives arctan(4.5/41) = 6.26°; I did bend the alu hossel by hand and measured with a protractor it being 6.5°, close enough. With the putter head having a loft of 3° that gives a dynamic loft of 9.5°, quit a lot more then the 6-7° that is most commonly stated. Maybe this is the reason the putter feels so natural: having the ball centered in my stands the putter head sits flat and my whole body, arms,... etc are in exactly the same position as with a normal putter, only the wrists have a slight forward press.
