mulegolf hahahahaha... I love the story about a couple of buddies, one was old and the other would mess with him by turning an outlet plate screw just a little bit off. Ocd buddy would have to go find it and fix it. One day his buddy stops by and forgets to turn a screw, and thinks nothing of it. A week later ocd calls him and with a frazzled voice says I give up, what screw did you turn I can't find it....

I'm liking this recent driver shaft transplant.

Par4QC And they were 'fitted' and all can 'break 90'. 🤣

“The suit doesn’t make the man”

So here’s a good one🙄. This is the typical shit that happens. One of our regulars at indoor golf, good golfer, is hitting his newish Tittie driver. I ask him if he wants to try a Stealth 2. He said he’s not in the market but ok. Anyway, I look at his set up, bring him what I think will work. Tensei white av2 shaft. He hammers it… He said 6-7 mph more ball speed than he has ever had. 163 was his best with his amd he was at 170 with ours.

So he goes online and buys one instead of going through me. Buys it with a different shaft🙄🙄🙄.

backinit I found another for him. It's lasted a couple years so far, but he's not swinging like he did in the past. Plus, I told him to hit the ball, not the ground. 😄

My first try at making my own leather grip, used a Winn Master Wrap underlisting. Took the old rubber wrap off (it was disintegrating brand new out of the wrapper) and went to town.

Looks kinda bad, feels nice though.

No build, but I did check in with a former FGI guy (and Buzzer) who does, and he's still informative and entertaining.
He was very active in the early days of FGI and was/is very much appreciated by me, and many others.
Nice to see @scotts33 make a surprise appearance too. LOL
@Mcburbn
Check him out on youtube and Mcgolf

I stop by to check in on Jim and Robin. I gave G'Buzz site to Jim so maybe he will stop by?
mcburbn and reddoggolf were two of the early FGI clubmakers along with thewitt that I remember. Others I can faintly remember but don't remember their ID names. Dyno changed his ID a few times. ☺

Maybe @Rickochet can jangle the memory banks?

Those three were very generous and of course dynamiteroll was/is one of a kind.
I don't recall offhand the ID names either. Many had their own shops, IIRC.
Jim answered a lot of my own questions online.
Dyno answered my questions plus other stuff, offline. LOL

Fixed up a new shaft for the Speedzone Xtreme driver (Hzrdus Black Handcrafted) and new shaft for the Rogue 7 wood (Aldila NV 2KXV Blue).

      Fingers crossed for good results...

Dyno had at least one other ID which was Dynamiteroll. I miss him on the forums. He had a very dry sense of humor and was one funny dude. I only see him here on the what are you listening to thread.
Yo, Percy pop in and say hey.

Rickochet Any others that you can remember Rick from FGI? Both of us being geezers the memory goes.

I wouldn't really call Rory aka BeatFarmer a clubmaker more a purveyor.

I thought of Rory mainly because he was from Pigfart. I tried to remember others but nothing popped up. ☹ I went to the FGI website that is still scrolling final posts. Lots of old names pop up but none I recall as being clubmakers.
