scotts33 mcburbn and reddoggolf were two of the early FGI clubmakers along with thewitt that I remember. Others I can faintly remember but don't remember their ID names. Dyno changed his ID a few times

Those three were very generous and of course dynamiteroll was/is one of a kind.
I don't recall offhand the ID names either. Many had their own shops, IIRC.
Jim answered a lot of my own questions online.
Dyno answered my questions plus other stuff, offline. LOL

Fixed up a new shaft for the Speedzone Xtreme driver (Hzrdus Black Handcrafted) and new shaft for the Rogue 7 wood (Aldila NV 2KXV Blue).

Fingers crossed for good results...

scotts33 Maybe @Rickochet can jangle the memory banks?

Dyno had at least one other ID which was Dynamiteroll. I miss him on the forums. He had a very dry sense of humor and was one funny dude. I only see him here on the what are you listening to thread.
Yo, Percy pop in and say hey.

Rickochet Any others that you can remember Rick from FGI? Both of us being geezers the memory goes.

I wouldn't really call Rory aka BeatFarmer a clubmaker more a purveyor.

I thought of Rory mainly because he was from Pigfart. I tried to remember others but nothing popped up. ☹ I went to the FGI website that is still scrolling final posts. Lots of old names pop up but none I recall as being clubmakers.

I watched funny the dialog between hubby and wife, assuming that's the nature of the relationship!/? ... While sipping on some scotch 🍻🙃

ode While sipping on some scotch

Back in the PCS (Professional Clubmakers Society) days there was quite a group of scotch drinkers. @accufitgolf John do you remember the guys that were scotch aficionado's?

candukid No reverse taper that I can feel.

Good to know as they are billed as reduced taper.

【Scientifically Taper Design】The golf club grips adoption grips supply larger lower hand .The reduced taper promote less tension in your hand, and release more power when swing .

Could have a slight reverse taper but I probably can’t tell.

candukid I think the term they are going for is reduced taper. Reverse taper are hard to find. I think feel golf had some and then there was another outfit but I forget the name, but those were really heavy, 100+ grams. It is doable to make a reverse taper out of a unified grip but it takes a serious build up job🙃

ode takes a serious build up job

My standard is a Midsize grip with one full wrap and 3 half wraps on lower hand, all with masking tape. Then the thin (think Ping) double sided tape. Gets a nice reduced taper feel

As far as club makers, there was Richard from England. He had strong opinions and did not like being disagreed with.

I glued the adapter for my 48 inch Cobra F7.
