fatshot If he's a senior who's been playing stiff for too long

He is. I've got hopes he finds a few yards and some more launch. ๐Ÿ‘

i15s 4 - W via cutter66 reamed to .370 and loaded with ns pro 1050gh...what could possibly go wrong?

    Subsonic some bore thru action!

Got lucky. The 2008 BB have a hosel plug in them that did no melt or loosen during shaft pull. This job was a blind bore. I did several sets of 2004 BBs that were bore-thru. That was my learning curve.

backinit I love the i series.

I5 we're possibly my fav, but the i20 was kind of magic too.

I have a TA-1 3 wood head that I've been working on, it has a rattle inside that I just CAN'T shake loose. I'm just about ready to slice it in half on my bandsaw....

That will probably do it. ๐Ÿคฃ

JShack01 Sorry if you've already tried this, but have you gone through the exercise of heating the head and seeing if you can shake the offending piece that is causing the rattle into the melt?

Not a very elegant explanation but I think some will understand. If not, I can try to explain further.

No, I haven't, I wouldn't have thought there was any melt in there since I haven't added any, but that's a great idea. I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the idea.

These. Ran out of blue ferrules. Red grips will complete the deal. Adams A12 Pro Forged. 8, 9, W. New heads from GS&D. I blame @Par4QC ๐Ÿ˜‚

          ode matching shafts in everything?

          Yes. Matrix Ozik.

sdandrea1 I'd have to dig around, but iirc, I used lime green.
I only hit them 1 round, so jury is kinda still out. The heads I got were about 2 clubs light and I couldn't get enough weight in them so mine are basically 7, 8, 9 by weight/length/loft. It's what I do. ๐Ÿคจ

I finished my longest iron set build today. I have been trying to assemble this set for around 7 years. It's a set of Wilson Staff Progressive irons from the early 90's. Pretty sure Payne Stewart won the US Open with a set of these. I picked up the 3-Pw minus the 7 iron at a Goodwill store 7 years ago. Took me until late last year to finally get the 7 iron. Heads have been reamed out to .370.
Shafts were pulls from a set of Pinseaker irons purchased from Goodwill as well. After checking the step pattern these Pinseaker shafts are actually R-flex TT XL Lites in pristine condition. Went with a new set of Golfpride Tour Wraps to round out these classic beauties.

I had a set of those back in the day....nice irons! Donated them last fall to a local high school coach who was trying to
get a team started again after the school had abandoned golf for several years.

Those should be reasonably playable โ€ฆ.. well,
Except for the 3i maybe. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž
