Yep, 7 hybrid. I took it back out of the bag. I think the 7 iron got the message, at least for now.

I have two 31 degree hybrids. A Cally and an Adams. They replace the 6i for me. My 7 irons are 34 to 35 degree lofts. The 31 hybrids are $!!

sdandrea1 what the hell's a break anyways? Just finished gripping. Still need to turn ferrules. Sorry Spuzz... I even threw on the shaft bands!

      9 days later

Put together a 29Β° EQ1-NX 6-hybrid (36.5") to most likely replace a 29.5Β° Sterling 7-iron. Couldn't resist matching the ferrule to the crown. Yes, like AdamMH, I too have yet to turn the ferrule.

May as well put today's build in this thread instead of the other one.....

Still fully curing, but set. I give you a Maltby KE4 Max 4i with KK shaft at 39" D1.5. Maiden voyage tomorrow,. πŸ˜‰

        Having trouble uploading pics....hopefully soon.

sdandrea1 They still make 4 irons?

Like Tom Watson use to say when warming up. if I can hit this 4i well, the rest of the set should
be easy peasy. I'm not sure it will make the bag, but it might be fun to see if it can replace my
4hy. Cheap enough, fun experiment. Off to hit it now.... 🏌

ode I have some shafts curing in All Fit adapters.

          How does that work?

I put a Tour Swing Okato Green in my SMT AF 460.
It's my most modern driver combo now.
            πŸ˜‰

LBlack14 they work. One adapter and then you can buy the different collars that fit the specific brand head. The n screw needs to be swapped as well (less TMag, those fit). It's clunky to start but is a nice process to be able to use one shaft in multiple heads. I would think it would be very handy for fitters.

Eguller thx.....offset barely noticable. I'm use to a thicker topline so that looks fine. πŸ€” Don't know why I'm procrastinating!
