Re-gripped the Niblick. The $1.49 DTG grip cost more than the Nibbi!

I had to build a box to house the 48” Cobra Long Tom Driver I sold! Down to only one driver not counting the Krank f11x head I’m selling or trading.
I built this 7 hybrid. I bought the head from Hurricane or DTG a few years ago. Ladies head, I had to take the sharpie to the lavender colored rubber slot insert.
The head is geezer gray so it’s fine. As fine as playing a 7 hybrid can be. It’s a small head. Shorter blade than my TS2 7 iron. Playing length 38.5”.
I tried it out the other night on the course and it kicks my 7 iron’s butt for height and spin. And accuracy and forgiveness. I’m so much better and more comfortable with longer hybrids versus mid irons. I kinda hate that but whatever. I guess I’d better get over it.
pike51 I remember when I put the 5 hybrid in the bag because I knew the 6 iron’s days were numbered. When the 5 hybrid flies higher and stops better than the 6 iron, that’s a real clue. I still carry the 6 iron sometimes but almost every time I can see that the hybrid is better.
Our course has firm fast greens, so I need the stopping power of the hybrid.
I have some shafts curing in All Fit adapters.

Put together a 29° EQ1-NX 6-hybrid (36.5") to most likely replace a 29.5° Sterling 7-iron. Couldn't resist matching the ferrule to the crown. Yes, like AdamMH, I too have yet to turn the ferrule.
HybridWood Couldn't resist matching the ferrule to the crown.
There's still some hope for golf club making humanity after all
May as well put today's build in this thread instead of the other one.....
Still fully curing, but set. I give you a Maltby KE4 Max 4i with KK shaft at 39" D1.5. Maiden voyage tomorrow,.
Having trouble uploading pics....hopefully soon.
