I remember really struggling with 360cc and then 400cc drivers. I never did well with drivers any way, but finally got a long with shorter heavier 300cc ones. It took me awhile to figure out that I needed to play the ball teed up higher and farther forward in my stance. Still not convinced I should have stopped using those smaller, shorter, heavier drivers.

very cool , i have the same putter i just was given for free...its a bit worn looking and should try to spruce it up.

btw...still have my freq analyzer, shaft puller and all the others....actually found a very basic bending unit in a box yesterday that I forgot i had ...lol

I still enjoy building clubs. I have never done it on a large scale. I get excited when the box is waiting for me when I get home. I am usually building stuff for friends and the occasional club for myself or my son. I think the pleasure for me still exists because I sit behind a desk all day in front of a computer. Being out in my shop building clubs while enjoying a cigar is a nice retreat for me. I take my time and enjoy the event.

Anybody want the KBS R shafts? I'm going to pull them as I have a couple of sets of graphite pulls (along with a box full of Miyazaki Jinsoku shafts) one set of which will go into the PTM heads.

I’m just getting old and I’m sick of everything being a project. Nothing I ever built was any better than anything I was taking apart. It was amazing, everything went the same. Finally realized it and said I’m done.

Also, the armoire upstairs got emptied out onto my bench along with legos and a subwoofer... so I have minimal space.

The oem stuff I hit great and it’s worth something on trade. The adapters are great because in the past if I had 5 shafts lying around I’d have to pull everyone and reglue everyone to see what you like or whatever. Now I have 5 shafts I can shuttle in and out G400max heads with the turn of a wrench

Reading all these posts it almost got me going again. But then _I thought of all the work I would have to do to just get started again and that put the dampener on it. _

Par4QC I don't know which ones they are yet. I didn't need to ask as I wanted the heads.

Par4QC They are the Tour 105 shafts. Haven't hit those before, so off to the range I go tomorrow. Clubs are in great shape. I lucked out on this one.

I believe Tom Wishon put out that it’s not the 1:1 change like what most companies put out there. It’s more like 1: .250 face angle to loft.

Are you a hobbyist or make a living from doing so. That in and of itself separates most of us. When that is defined then we can understand where you/we are coming from. I'd guess more than 95%+ on any golf forum are hobbyists. I myself and Aaron who has a business and a few others 5% look at way different than the majority of GB'ers. Not that it's right or wrong it is looking at it way differently.

Rickochet I know the 300cc KZG was my first " big" driver, it didn't take long to adjust when i saw the results. I think my Alpha was 400+, as I recall it looked like today's normal.

Sparky Just last season I 1st tried the KBS shafts, Tour 90. By far the best steel shaft I've ever had. They actually feel nicer, smoother than any graphites. So, if the 105 plays like mine, you'll probably be keeping them. As long as the flex is correct; I found they play soft.
