      sdandrea1 yes...from GW it comes with a collared ferrule.....I just used a regular ferrule or you could go with out for the demo if you don't mind the look.

                    ode So I think I'm done with testing and just posted a review in the Equipment forum. Really like this head a lot. I guess sdandrea1 has opted out of testing for now so it's up for grabs!

                            Ordered a new head for a guy I work with. I’m wondering if they’ve had issues with shafts not bonding to the adapter? Check out the inside of the adapter

                              Nothing wrong with it, The inside of the bore is scored like the old SMT drivers used to be.

                                The last Maltby driver I really really really liked was the original CT250.

                                colej I ordered 4 adapters and there were a couple of differences, most notably that 2 had the old SMT lines. The other adapters are VERY smooth inside, so proper bonding could have been
                                an issue.

                                    I’ve always been a firm believer in roughing up any surface that epoxy bonds with, including brass shims.

                                        colej the 2 smooth adapters didn’t rough up easily. I had to use a random piece that I found in a Dremel box to really rough it up. I’m not a huge fan of the collared ferrules. To me I would rather have that area for an additional epoxy bond. I usually use some shafting beads so centering the shaft is rarely an issue.
