swinnea LBlack14 What's it mean when you try to like someone's reply and it won't let you? I've found that it means that I'm not actually logged in. I have to look in upper right corner to make sure.
tlkerer Hey @jrock , nice to see ya back around.. and I think it's cool so see things come back around to this. Been a long strange trip..
Spartan tlkerer I like your avatar. It reminds me of the one you had on FGI. Glad to see you're still around.
tlkerer Spartan Gerry, nice to see you around here too. Haven't been golfing much due to back problems unrelated to golf.. but I'm getting the urge to play again.
FauxAmish tlkerer You need to come next year to the First Buzz Open. Coming to an as yet known location. 😎😨☝👀
tlkerer FauxAmish I'd love too. I've been to quite a few Desert Storms. @PA-PLAYA (Scott) and I went Golfbummin' in Ireland and Scotland. And there were the Melees in New Jersey a while back too. I'm looking forward to the next one I can go to.
PA-PLAYA tlkerer Couldn't have asked for better road buddies! Had the time of my life, and Owen - I'm still indebted to you! There are just some things in life you never forget. 🙂
Rickochet Today is kind of a sad day. FGI's last day. I made my last post and said good bye. 14 years and 18k posts. For years I expected FGI just not to be there one day but somehow it always appeared. Hard to believe but that day is here.
Weirfan Rickochet I wouldn't be sad. It had run its course and for the past 3-4 years was essentially a pissing contest for malcontents and not an enjoyable place to be. Membership participation declined and its demise was inevitable. Be happy for all the good times early that we had and for the friendships that have been forged as a result of those good times. I've met over 100 FGI/Buzzers over the years , met a few new ones this year at DS....and have spent many wonderful days on course and nights chatting and joking with them and consider many of them dear and close friends........this will continue here.

Membership participation declined and its demise was inevitable. It is sad because of 15 years of FGI history is now lost. I think it could have survived had had the forum platform been updated at an appropriate time. But that didn't happen. Still sad in my opinion.
kenner Well said, Peter. At this last DS, I was happy to see Justin at one of the parties. He's the one who brought us all together in the first place, and is now keeping up the tradition with this site. Long live the Buzzers!
FauxAmish Just changed my Internet Explorer Home page to GolfBuzz.com My GoogleChome home page has been such since Jan. 27... Welcome to Jrock and GolfBuzz ... Adios to MY Friend FGI ...
jrock Typhoon with as much attention they pay to it, it probably won't be turned off for awhile. And then one day someone will be like "oh yeah" and flip the switch. 🙂
