Car stuff. When I examined the 4Runner bought two weeks ago, I discovered that 3 of the handle segments from the Spare Tire/Jack tool kit were missing. There were lots of aftermarket versions that probably would've worked, but wouldn't guarantee compatibility with the spare tire holding mechanism. I found the exact segments needed for sale at Toyota Parts Superstore to make the tool kit OEM original and bought them. Got those today.
Wife is going on a girl trip next month, so while she's gone I'm going to do some periodic maintenance on my Scion while I have unmolested use of the driveway. Will change out the engine coolant, and gear oil in the manual transmission. Just got the coolant funnel kit and the gear oil today also. Coolant should be here tomorrow. Also realized that I never put a dedicated tool kit (Sockets, drivers, bits, and combination wrenches) in the Scion in the time I've had it. Got a DEWALT Kit with most of the stuff in it, and a set of combination wrenches with ratcheting box ends. Both sets have common metric and imperial sizes covered. Now just need to throw in some pliers for odd stuff and I'll be set.
Cars are using up all my golf money. Hoping to play while the wife is away ๐.
