fatshot d5n03 I'm trying to decide between Apollo Shadow 74 gram, or Cobra Fly-Z, 60 gram. Both Senior flex (I'll be 78 next month!). I may put one in the 6 iron and the other in the 7 and hit one against the other before building the whole set.
Par4QC fatshot Apollo Shadow 74 gram Very nice shafts! Thought I was the only one that even knew about them. A flex is not a 'mushy' A flex, as you'll find in other brands. But also not too stiff for us slow fellas. Could even tip less than called for if wanting softer yet. LRRH would like them. π
LBlack14 Thought I bought a pair of Oakley MFrames, but the fucker disappeared on me. I'd hunt a mutherfucker down over $50, yes I would. It's the principle of the thang, at this point. Anybody know how to track an email/PayPal address for location??

sdandrea1 backinit @ 62 is looker better and better. I punched out at 62. If you can afford it, do it.
Bravopilot sdandrea1 @backinit My son is disabled and will receive 50% of my benefit (he gets SSI now) until I pass then 75%. Waiting for my FRA of 66.5--next April. 70 is too long to wait.
Typhoon sdandrea1 I punched out at 62. If you can afford it, do it. β Birth, School, Work, Deathβ for me
Rickochet sdandrea1 I punched out at 62. If you can afford it, do it. I punched out at 62. Yes, you will draw more per month if you wait, but if you figure how much you will have drawn out already by 65 it will take several years (into your 70's) drawing at the 65 rate just to catch up with what you have drawn out at the earlier age. A SSA break even calculator will tell you how to compare the two. Basically, if you retire at 66 it will take you until age 75 to have received the same total amount that you would have received if you retired at 62.

backinit Bravopilot A kid starting college and a wife working without benefits throw a wrench in the works. The wife has been put on notice that @ 65 I'm done for at least awhile. Find a job with benefits!
Bravopilot backinit Yeah, not easy. No wife here and have my military retirement, which pays surprisingly well. Just need to sell my house in VA next spring.
Walterjn Typhoon same for me. Except I expect to be in the ground a few days before I can stop working...
Typhoon LBlack14 Let me know how those hikers work out. My waterproof hikers are wearing out and with these jobs I do Iβm on pavement a lot so they wear out fast.
mulegolf Just ordered a Garmin Approach S42 GPS golf watch. In this past month I've had 2 Garmin GPS golf watches crap out on me, One, an Approach S10 I've had for 4-5 years and the other, an Approach S40 I've had about 3 years. The S10 was a much better watch for me than the S40. The S40 took forever to locate the satellite and didn't like to stay on the correct hole while I was playing and then I couldn't just select the correct hole. I'd have to shut it down and start over searching for the satellite again. I almost spent more time messing with that damn watch than playing golf. i think the battery o n the S10 must be shot because I had the watch plugged in to the electricity for almost a week and when I got to the course it indicated that I had a low battery and it shut down. That one was a refurbished unit to start with so who knows how old the battery is?
Luc_Van_Daele mulegolf i think the battery o n the S10 must be shot because I had the watch plugged in to the electricity for almost a week Or the connector; with my S10 I sometimes have to waggle the connector a bit to make good connection and for the watch to indicate it is loading.
sdandrea1 SWMBO spotted this baby at a local thrift store the other day. She said "I don't know what it is....it just said Epiphone on it". I went over there this morning and jumped all over this guy for $200. Gig test this coming Friday! @backinit
