KCee I've put a few bake elements and a broil element in our 17 year old oven. If you remove the element (usually a couple of small bolts - a nice 1/4" drive set comes in handy) there is usually a 5 or 6 digit number on the retention plate of the element that you can google. Amazon sells them. The last time I replaced the element one of the wire ends broke off. I crimped on an automotive fastener and it's been working still for a few years.
What did you buy this week?
My wife bought a Breville when we moved and our oven is rarely used.
Nice in the summer as the kitchen does not heat up.
More plants for the yard. Two years ago I spent a lot of effort cutting out overgrown shrubs planted 25 years before. Enjoyed a year with an uncluttered yard, but my wife can’t abide open spaces. Bought 3 hydrangeas today to be planted over the next week. Fortunately, I’m able to exert enough influence to choose varieties that will not overgrow their spaces this time.

Good move.
We did the same thing years ago including adding islands to reduce grass cutting time.
One day I was sweating like crazy and getting beat up using a rototiller.
A female neighbor stops me to say: "Please tell your wife how lovely her yard looks!"

Curious, how much, per?
Also curious, do any of you ever say no or do it yourself?? Serious question.
My wife paid $30-35 / per.
Yard work I don't mind.
I always did it myself until we built a house and moved last June.
All the trees and large shrubs the nursery is planting as the soil is clay with shale.
I just beat my brains out last week digging for a 2 gallon size plant.

$40 each. One called “BloomStruck” and two called “Pop Star” in 3 gallon pots.
I don’t say no for reasonable requests that she has difficulty with - and gardening is one of those. I have told her to paint the interior herself if she wants it done since I have little skill in that area and it doesn’t require appreciable strength.
I ordered saddle bags for Archie. They should be here tomorrow. His free ride is over!

Got some ferrules everybody here would hate, and found a matching sand iron for my '67 Haig Ultra heads that are waiting to be reamed and built.
Bought another small safe.
I bought a matching Tommy Armour 855 Silver Scot W3 (52 degree) for my set.
Bought a set (4-PW) of Taylormade R9 irons with KBS Tour shafts in excellent condition.
