I haven't bought much golf stuff recently, but did grab three closeout BGT Stability shafts and some DG Mid X100 wedge shafts, destined for the blank wedges I bought from TourSpec now that I've finally figured out my grinder.

Typhoon Red and Blue are awful. You look at them amd when you look away you still see the image.

I can't see the red or blue very well in flight or on the ground. Useless for me.

I have to go buy an oven 😡 It turns on, but no heat. It's getting power so maybe a thermal fuse or the heating element, but it's old so I don't know that it's worth fixing. Plus it's so old that I have no idea what model it is. I've actually never had to buy an oven and didn't realize they cost that much 😮

New shafts for my go to hybrids. I think I can get more out of them/better play with something softer, but heavier.
Also got shafts for my Snake Eyes hybrids which take .335.

Typhoon I got rid of those for the good $$ 😄. Great feeling shafts though.
I now use Nippons in them and they play super, even better than the Darts. And feel just as soft.
I've got Tensei Blue in my hybrids but always felt they might be better with a softer type shaft. Got some Apollo Shadows coming, and have used them before. Very nice feel, good weight, and low priced. Kinda like finding the right woman. 🤣 And they too also give feedback.

KCee How's your electrical knowledge? First thing I'd check is if the heating element relay is functional. Had a family member pick up a free oven/stove combo that would only hit 300F. Secondary relay that gets the temps up was busted, 5$ part and some solder work to fix.

I have a degree in Electrical Engineering so I'm ok. I have fixed my washer, dryer, dishwasher and other things, but never an oven. If it was newer I might pull it apart, but it's got to be at least 30 years old. Pretty sure it was included with the house and we are not the original owners.

Even if I figure out what part is bad, I don't know that I could figure out what part number to buy because there is no serial # or even model # on this thing.

Used to be a plate affixed inside the oven......wayyyy back in the old days.

But if it's that old, it's probably an energy monster.

Par4QC Yeah I found an area where it looks like there may have been a tag/label. I'm thinking if I pull it out of the wall I may see something on the side or in the back. Just not sure it's worth trying to repair. The wife is definitely pushing for a new one lol

We just dropped $4k on a combo oven/microwave......eeesh.

Ryobi battery powered multi tool under the Home Depot promo.

KCee fair point - it's entirely possible you can't get a drop-in replacement part anyways. 30 years is a pretty good service life for any appliance in the first place! Don't think anybody would blame you for going new.

Sadly that doesn't seem that bad. For just a plain electric oven I don't see anything less than $3K.

Our last oven purchase was 9 years ago, so we were sticker shocked. 😵‍💫

Ho'd some stuff today at a PIAS. Nice Cleveland RTX 588 SW, found a Nike SQ 7 iron in NEW condition for $20 to replace the one that my grandson lost (🤬), a MINTY set of Tommy Armour 855 Silver Scots, 3-SW with new grips, and a nice Cally X-Hot 5w.

Dude… 30 years old… you got your moneys worth. Although expensive, a new one will be more efficient… you’re due, I’d have to agree with the wife on that one.
