LBlack14

Yeah, its amazing... same with a snowblower. I saw it at my local hardware store. They have some floor models but they're not even selling those. In the spring I thought my tractor was dead and I was casually looking around... when I actually paid attention I saw that you couldn't get one.

LBlack14 I was looking at a Cub Cadet rider the other day....it was the ONLY one they had in stock. The
guy said they usually have the floor loaded with snowblowers at this time of year, but the place was practically empty
due to "supply chain problems."

colej as much as I appreciate that, I'm just gonna buy another. My neighbor told me, "the key's in mine and the shed's unlocked, help yourself". He said he'd get me through this year, if need be. My JD dealer's getting more S120's in February. If I don't find one before then....
There's one, local, I messaged a guy about earlier, but haven't heard back yet.

colej No vertical shaft engines there, of that HP, and I assume that is what would be needed.

colej Likewise. I did just now check when I saw the model #/HP of LB's tractor.

I could meet you at his place. Bring your welder and we'll stretch the frame a bit and drop in a lil 4 cyl. for him. 😄

I did a search online and found a 22 hp vertical
Shaft predator engine but I’m guessing they’re not stocking it anymore?

LBlack14 In case you've not heard down there, John Deere has been on strike for almost a week now.
Even here, in John Deere Country, there are no mowers available. The shortage will only be prolonged.

SVonhof Saturday we bought a new-to-us car.
2015 Hyundai Genesis Coupe with 12k miles on it.

        How's that?

Only driven to church on Sunday by a little old lady?

LBlack14 Sounds like me lol. My neighbor ordered a new mower back March/April, but then couldn't get it. He used mine all year and finally got his a few weeks ago. Mine died last week and now I'm using his until I can fix mine or find a replacement. I knew mine was on it's last legs, but was hoping it would make it through the Fall.

No, little old ladies don't put cold air intake, custom carbon fiber steering wheels, high-end LED and HID lights and Halo rings on the projector headlights. They might put in the aftermarket blind spot monitors that the car came with though.

That was an old post. We have had the car for 2 years and 5 months now and have under 23,000 miles on it. Needed new tires at 20k miles, which wasn't cheap, but they are softer and quieter.
