It's been a big week for my Visa card. I just ordered some hearing aids from Costco. I was very impressed with the test they gave me. Then they programmed and fitted me with two sets of aids and told me to go meander around the store and talk to the people giving out free shit. I knew I had some hearing loss but I couldn't believe the difference. I got the rechargeable behind the ear kind, Costo Kirkland KS 10. I have to go back in a few weeks to get them programmed and fitted. Yes, Steve, you told me so.
What did you buy this week?
Out with the old......
In with the new......
Yeah, you shoulda seen the look on my face when my wife brought that clock homeā¦ā¦.
Bought these today.

I'm getting new Kirklands in Jan. We'll chat some next month after you've had yours a while. Good choice!
An exotics hyper steel cup ti face (original?) 4 wood with stock regular shaft for $10.50 from Dallas Golf.
Caved and bought my 1st mallet putter - a PING Heppler Floki adjustable.
Hardly missed with it on the practice green in two sessions. I hope it behaves when it arrives
next week.
JeffTilley I get scared just looking at all that blackness.
No shopping for me but golf_ghirl (that's not her in the photo) took delivery of one of these last week, in this colour. Due to delays in her order the supplier upgraded her to a (can be made) road legal version with a 36 hole battery, and a detachable 2 bag back rack, no extra cost.
Persistent health issues mean she can't walk 18 holes without suffering 2-3 days afterwards, and that reduces her playing time. She also has a bestie who had a heart attck last year but is allowed back to golf provided she doesn't over exert. No doubt the two of them will be disappearing up the steeper hills on our courses leaving me to play catch up.
It'll pay for itself pretty quickly as buggy hire is £20 for members at our place and will probably rise next year. Got the idea from an older member who turned up in one of these a while back, he has serious knee problems. Now he's retired he turns up for an early round, stops for lunch and a beer, and does another 18 in the afternoon.
My wife said āit looks like one of those assault riflesā lol. Hereās the latest with cheek pad and muzzle brake. Still waiting on sunshade, extended mag release, and Big Bertha bolt knobā¦ā¦..
I bought a Worx 20V Power Share 4" Cordless Shear and 8" Shrubber Trimmer. Since I am recovering from a broken arm I cannot swing my full size shrub trimmer I thought I would give this a try since I already had 4 batteries. The shrub trimmer blade and the grass shear blades are interchangeable. I can use these one handed and did the winter trim of the shrubs. I was really impressed how powerful this little dude is. I also noticed an extension handle with wheels for the grass shear. I liked the shrub blade so much I also ordered the extension handle. I used it to cut a big bed full of hostas flush with the ground as well as a big patch of ornamental grass. I am really impressed with this gizmo. I am starting to collect quite a few WORX cordless products.
sdandrea1 I knew you would keep them just missed you getting more putters than you needed to deny me my hard-earned prize. However, maintaining your official King of HOing status is a good thing. I get the XXIO (not sure why) text messages, that have new stuff for you to consider.
JeffTilley I had my ass hault on my lap yesterday afternoon sitting for deer. I have a 5 round mag and soft points to keep it legal and being that it's chambered for 7.62x39 the trajectory is close to a .30-.30 if not slightly more powerful.
500 rounds of CCI standard velocity and 3 ten round rotary mags. My Chinese made (arenāt they all) Snitz swing motion trainer came in after 2 months waiting. They mustāve unloaded one of those cargo ships waiting off the coast of L.A.. I got an email from 2nd Swing stating my Ping G425 Max 7-wood wonāt be in now til early December. So far Iām impressed with the 5-wood. May look for a Tensei Orange pull on ebay to put in my driver. Even with my current ugly swing they wanna go straight.
