My acquisition yesterday was a flu and pneumonia shot. Someone please go ahead and post that they don't get the flu shot because they once got the flu from one.

One of my golf buds swears by the MG golf balls so I ordered a dozen of the MG Senior hot pick balls. I played the hot pink Noodles Ice balls several years ago and really liked the color.

Rickochet I tried those balls. Should have sent the balance back for refund. Definitely 'not as advertised'. There are any number of other balls that are 'longer'.

johnnydoom I thought raisins were just too delicious to have any detractors. Is this a taste issue, appearance, tooth decay...?

I just can't stand to eat those little buggers when they are dancing and singing "I heard it through the grape vine."

Par4QC I tried those balls. Should have sent the balance back for refund. Definitely 'not as advertised'. There are any number of other balls that are 'longer'.

Thanks Rex. I think I still have time to cancel them.

Rickochet Well, for me anyway, they didn't go any farther than the Precept Laddie I used along with them, and those can be had for under $20/2 doz..

Bought a custom tune (Hemifever Stage 1) for my DiabloSport i3 tuner for my Durango RT.

I played an Art Hills course today just over the state line in SE Michigan. Right next door to the course is a component store (www.componentsplus.com) which I visit every time we play there. In cleaning out my workshop last week, I found a set of Apollo Shadow senior iron shafts that I forgot I had. They were even tip trimmed and had been in another set of clubs (don't ask me what they were!!). So, it seemed like these shafts were crying out for some heads to be put on them!!

After hitting several demos they had (they have a driving range also), I settled on the Acer XV Hi Trajectory model, 7-8-9-W. They have a little wider sole than the Acer XV Professionals ode talked about in his thread about a week ago, and a little more "shovel-like," but I hit them noticeably better than the Pros. Anymore, 7-8-9-W is a "set" of irons for me, and I can add a 6 iron or a gap wedge anytime I decide I need one. So, that's my golf purchase for today....anxious to install the shafts and play with them on Thursday!!

Cobra F-Max one length just delivered to my door - off
to the driving range or maybe a quick 9.

i tried to get one one when I was at the doctor and they were out. I did get the Hep A vaccine though.

sdandrea1 nah not too bad. I caught some deals at callaway preowned. Irons were $400 driver about 350 shipped and the wedge slightly used about 95 shipped. I sold my Scotty and g400s came out a wash

LBlack14 Got my disc brake pads in today. Going to be doing a drain and fill on the fluids and putting in front brake pads on the Frontier this week.

After badgering Aaron at VG for years about adding a 9 wood to the Pinhawk SL fairway wood set I felt obligated to get one to go with the 3, 5 & 7 I already have. Lightening fast shipping as usual and should be here tomorrow. 😁

I bought another Fujikura Pro 50 M-flex driver shaft on fleebay. I've found that this shaft (in both r-flex and M-flex) seem to match my swing very well right now. I've been tinkering with the idea of making a Krank Formula XX Extreme driver to use as kind of a demo model and decided that if I make one it might as well fit me as I'll be using it a good share of the time.

Another Cleveland CBX wedge. This one is a 48*. These wedges are stupid-ez to hit from any lie.
