2 new front tires for the lawn tractor. First ones since it was new back in 1998.
What did you buy this week?
This is kind of funny. I use green sharpies to mark my golf balls and lost my last one. I ordered a pack of two from Amazon for $4.61 shipped and got it the next day using Amazon Prime.
A couple of large cadet footjoy gloves. It's been 25 years since I've played with a glove. I've preferred to go without and have used full cord grips instead since I sweat profusely. But I decided to give a glove a shot again since most of the clubs I've bought and put in the bag over the past year came with grips in good condition and I haven't wanted to replace all of them yet.
Took delivery of my newest driver today...…….9* SMT Shinnecock w/Penley Tour Light TS shaft. Apparently, it came from China instead of Houston, as I thought...………
New bag is in this shot also!
Sparky Did some garage sales this morning...
Ping G400 headcovers, driver and two fairways, $1 each.
Ecco golf shoes in nice shape. $2.
Let me update this one. Took the garage sale Ecco shoes to the course this morning. Put them on in the parking lot, walked to the clubhouse. Went to the bathroom. Walked back to my bag, and a chunk of the sole fell off. Had my regular shoes in the car, so I started to walk back to the parking lot. Half way there, the entire left sole came off. And as I got to my car, the entire right sole came off.
This was NOT a good $2 purchase after all, although I did get a pretty good laugh at myself.
That's the worst golf club picture ever.......................................ever.

A new laser with slope.

I was just thinking that this may be the best way to ship clubs, esp. drivers. The box is not going to be opened and robbed. It let's the assholes at UPS know what they are dealing with; if they even have mental functions when handling such items.
I've gotten a couple of clubs from EBay packed like that. I was alarmed the first time, but it was fine. And all that bubble wrap -- was great for packing up a few clubs that I sold.

I shipped a stand bag like that once. I covered it from the top and the bottom with heavy duty leaf yard bags. Ran tape around the circumference in 3 places to tighten up the bags and clear taped the shipping label on. Post Office was fine with it,
