Sneakylong Did you feel the same way regarding the Petterson / Lee issue in the Solheim Cup? Petterson took a pounding in the media on a very similar thing where Petterson said she did not concede the putt to Lee. Everyone agrees Sergio was wrong according to how the rules are written. And Petterson was technically correct also.
The difference is Kuchar said he didn't want to win the hole that way and Petterson's initial reaction was she had no problem with it. She only flip flopped after public opinion turned against her.
I don't think Kuchar lied when he said that he'd prefer to not win a hole that way. I think less of Sergio, however, for putting a player in that situation, especially suggesting afterward (if he in fact did) a pro-quo deal to cover his emotional instability on display, yet again.
Composure is just as much a part of the game as physical skill. We all know this. Sergio knows it too. He just has very little in the discipline and patience departments when things aren't going his way.
