raggmann54 How do they justify those charges and how do people pay it??? Are the customers that stupid
It seems to be "the way" now. As long as there's suckers, there's going to be con artists.

It’s amazing that with all the bad press about them that people still go there. All you hear is, “ I saw a coupon for $100 bag fitting!!” And they clamor to go. Then can’t believe the price, so they live under a rock?
The vanity of some golfers is priceless. The more they spend, the bigger their d$ck gets (at least in the their minds).
raggmann54 Not stupid, but they fully believe the experience to be about the "fitting"
The DFW area has gobs of custom fitting options, and a lot of them are fairly priced, including the finished clubs. I couldn’t begin to list them all, but there’s the big box stores where there are at least some competent people, the PXG store, a few teaching pros who do lots of fittings, up to someone like the Hank Haney school, and several independent guys and shops with good reputations. I’m sure we have CC and those types too. You can get from just about anywhere to anywhere in DFW in under an hour so they are all in the mix. I used an independent who has a good reputation but he really wasn’t that good, for me. If I could figure out which of the couple dozen options was the guy, I’d try again.
My biggest wish would be to be able to take home a test club for three days.
These 2 rivers are sometimes magical. I've witnessed massive storms approaching, only to be diverted N or S, or both sometimes. Last night was a whopper that tore up a lot of shit over in Iowa, and killed a few people. It just 'disappeared' once it got to the outskirts of the QC. Basically where the 2 rivers meet.
Not even a drop of rain!! But did have a lot of wind, maybe 40-50 mph. Lucky, this time. Again.
