Rickochet You have a bastard child in the group with the Zing wedge.

That SW goes with my ZING 2 set. I just treated the finish with the Eye 2s. My ZING 2 set is SS, so it's still a bastard.😉

$12 + shipping !

Those are beautiful! Nice Work Steve.

Why can’t I ever run into a set of those? I want a BeCu set, just to say I have them lol. The Barkeepers for copper does a helluva job on stubborn stuff too. I took copper bottom pots from my great grandmother and had them looking damn near 20 minutes, impressive stuff.

I found these on Ebay. They were split into 2 different listings. The 4,5,6 in one and 7 to W on the other. The pics showed the serial #s all the same to I messaged the guy and he said he listed them separately because the grips didn't match. I paid $170 shipped. I could maybe get $300 now but I'd like to keep them.

Let me know if u get $300 for them Steve. I have the 2-sw and it seems they aren't actually selling for a whole lot. That's about the only reason I'm keeping mine right now.

Mine aren't for sale. I was looking at some of the past sales of sets that had matching numbers and clean heads.

Maybe they are better now, I know I looked a year or 2 ago and was disappointed.

What I might do sometime is sell the Orange dot ones that are in Nick's bag that he never uses and put the coppers in there. My youngest is a lefty and has G2 irons.

It does look like the prices are dropping. Maybe the luster is over. More like $200 to $250 is the trend.

I have never played the BeCu's. Is this just a cosmetic pimping over the standard Eye 2 or is there a performance diff?

Beryllium Copper alloy is a totally different alloy than Stainless Steel. Other than that, the specs are the same. Many have said they feel and sound different , but I can't tell. They look better to me.

Back when they came out, I think the only soft balls out there were solid rubber and liquid center wound balata. I was only a kid then so I'm trying to remember. Tons of 2 piece surlyn distance balls that were the rage...Titleist DT, Top Flites, Pinnacles.

The only thing that felt soft off of a set of regular cavity back cast irons were the rubber and Titleist Balatas. Becu gave a noticeably softer feel when hitting the 2 piece balls....long time ago

So, back then, better feel with becu because of less ball composition choices. Now, so many softer ball choices, all clubs feel like Becu. Just a cult classic now....
