Walterjn darpar my grandparents used to live in Bloomington, UT. 35 some odd years ago.. from what I remember and what I'm seeing on Google maps it sure expanded... there wasn't ahit there when I visited last.
Mattyv The constant 110+ temps are making me cranky. Another 10+ days of this in the forecast until it cools down to a high of 109. I hope I don't go postal.
Mattyv azgreg You said it man. Just got in the car after it was sitting in a parking lot for 1.5hrs. Temp gauge said 121. Phuck this place.
Mattyv sdandrea1 Unfortunately it has actually been a little humid. Or maybe it is so hot that it feels humid.
azgreg sdandrea1 Yeah, but it's a dry heat Actually monsoon season is about to hit and the humidity is beginning to rise.
Rickochet Par4QC I've seldom/rarely used the a/c in any vehicles, at any temp. Right now it is 84* in the house, doors/windows closed, but expecting the a/c to kick on sometime today (set at 86) as it will be +90 and humid outside. My utility bill has been slashed 1/2 in the past year. 😉 Damn. Why not just leave the windows open all the time and nut it up and you will save even more? 😟
Bravopilot In Ft Worth, TX for work, 107 yesterday and today cooler at 106. Humidity was low though. Luckily the engineer types don't wear typical business clothes at the plant.
KCee It's only 82 here right now, but apparently it will feel like 101. I just took the dog out again and with the +80% humidity it does feel like you're walking into a sauna.
johnnydoom Got a pair of 97 degree days coming, and then a pair of 80 something degree days forecast before returning to low 90's. We still have a lot of summer ahead of us in Mississippi, but it's been slightly cooler than normal so far. I haven't been able to enjoy much of it outdoors due to work and family, but it looks like the folks out west are absorbing most of the sizzle before it gets here.
Par4QC Been a great, strange summer weather scene, so far, but.......hellsacomin...... Current local forecasts are showing in the low 100's just a couple hours West, early next week, so that chart may get updated later.
d5n03 Par4QC It looks like Des Moines is forecasted to hit 100+ next Wednesday. I’m getting acclimated for it by spending this week in the Phoenix area. BTW, RAGBRAI is to go from Ames to Des Moines next Wednesday. They are expecting 75,000+ bicyclists riding that day.
