d5n03 Mattyv Surprise. We bought a new build that is in a subdivision that is across the street from Sterling Grove G&CC. My wife is moving there this trip. I’ll return to Iowa & work until my retirement at the end of October. We still need to get our Iowa home sold.
Mattyv d5n03 That is a nice golf course. As an added bonus, you will get to see fighter jets all day long flying out of Luke AFB.
darpar Just talked to our old realtor back in St.George, Ut.,he said it's been up 118°!😲 Lived there 19 yrs. never saw it that hot that I can remember. 102° here the Hill Country doesn't sound so bad now!
sdandrea1 darpar 102° here the Hill Country doesn't sound so bad now! I remember those days when I lived in Round Rock and worked in Austin. High of 102, low at night in the mid 80s. 1978 - 1982. This isn't new.
Walterjn darpar my grandparents used to live in Bloomington, UT. 35 some odd years ago.. from what I remember and what I'm seeing on Google maps it sure expanded... there wasn't ahit there when I visited last.
d5n03 Mattyv Yup - already getting used to the fighter jet activity during my visits to see my sister & BIL. They are down the road in Goodyear.
Bravopilot d5n03 Luke AFB, pilot training for the F-35--many international as well. The plane is loud regardless of those pesky Environmental Studies
Eguller azgreg "The current official highest registered air temperature on Earth is 56.7 °C (134.1 °F), recorded on 10 July 1913 at Furnace Creek Ranch, in Death Valley in the United States."
Mattyv The constant 110+ temps are making me cranky. Another 10+ days of this in the forecast until it cools down to a high of 109. I hope I don't go postal.
Mattyv azgreg You said it man. Just got in the car after it was sitting in a parking lot for 1.5hrs. Temp gauge said 121. Phuck this place.
