We make light of his eccentric OCD, but here he is again tied for the lead going into the final round of another tournament, hoping to win for the 4th time since Jan 2018.

"Does't anyone think he was trying to be funny and not serious?"

Well, if he was, they need tweeking once in a while anyway. And he's one that can do it so they have to react and think about it. Good job.

If you're talking about the "pants" he's wearing, I agree! Looks like he got up late and decided to play in his pajama bottoms!!! Ben Hogan is rolling over in his grave.....!!!

Another victory for single length irons. πŸ™‚

    fatshot

What a stupid look, the pants are one thing, but showing off ones ankles....man capris, lol!

The eagle was huge, what a helluva shot, played solid down the stretch with some nice lag putting!

Had you told me in January that Bryson would win 4x before the end of the year, I would've laughed. I didn't think he was a fluke by no means, but I didn't know he had it in him to play as well as he has over the past 11 months.

Just gotta give him his due props. Heckuva year, making a lotta coin. He may be golf's mad scientist, but he's living the dream.

Agreed, an absolutely incredible year with 4 wins in 2018 and the year isnt done ( yes I know this win was for next year s season) but still 4 wins in 2018.

Always knew this kid was a special talent and glad to see him do so well. Hes young and learning and will only get better IMO. I can definitely see a major or a few in his future .

He's a little unconventional and a brilliant egg head ......different makes some people uncomfortable so they choose to be negative towards him . These folks are Probably also a bit jealous that he is so much smarter than them.

Golf is incredibly boring so it needs some characters that go against the stodgy and boring traditional norms. Guys like Lee Trevino, Chi Chi, John Daly, Tiger , Bubba, Bryson dont fit the mold and make golf so much more interesting. Golf needs more characters .

mikeintopeka Sorry for the off topic post, but in response to Mike's post, I have to clarify that Bryson is only dating that girl for one thing. Sex? Tits? Nope. It's simply a physics problem for him. He's trying to figure what keeps her upright. From all the physics I know, she should fall over.

(By the way, not to knock anyone's girlfriend, but is there anything real about this girl. She's pretty easy on the eye, but she has more silicone in her than that California valley I hear so much about.)

She does sort of have that look like really good CGI that isn't quite good enough to pass for human. Features too exaggerated to be believable. But she's real, supposedly! Pictures can be deceiving. Lots of "enhancement" in a lot of online images. She may not look so... Waxy? In real life.

You do know that Silicon Valley is not pronounced "Silicone"?
Silicon is a chemical element with symbol Si and atomic number 14. It is a hard and brittle crystalline solid with a blue-grey metallic lustre; and it is a tetravalent metalloid and semiconductor. It is a member of group 14 in the periodic table: carbon is above it; and germanium, tin, and lead are below it.

Silicones, also known as polysiloxanes, are polymers that include any inert, synthetic compound made up of repeating units of siloxane, which is a chain of alternating silicon atoms and oxygen atoms, combined with carbon, hydrogen, and sometimes other elements. They are typically heat-resistant and either liquid or rubber-like, and are used in sealants, adhesives, lubricants, medicine, cooking utensils, and thermal and electrical insulation. Some common forms include silicone oil, silicone grease, silicone rubber, silicone resin, and silicone caulk.

That's why I love this golf forum. It's not just about golf; one can learn about many other things also. I like knowing that fake boobies will not catch fire whilst being, er….let's say 'rubbed with the putter' (just to keep it a golf related discussion).πŸ˜‰

Well, I'm a Bryson detractor -- his pace of play and demeanor on the course drive me crazy. I fast forward every time he comes on the TV. But, it sounds like he is a pretty nice guy. Here is a summary of a couple of guys' experience with him in a Pro Am. I would link to the actual article, but the link that was provided along with this summary leads to an entirely different article.

          A pro-am with Bryson...

Can you imagine what it's like to in one of pro golf's unique pre-tournament 5-hour spectacles?

Golf Digest's Joel Beall talks with a few of the men who teed it up with golf's mad scientist.

"Bryson gave us a big warm greeting and was opposite of aloof," said George Kaelin, an attorney and former owner of Full Swing Golf. "He remained engaging and interested in us. There was a ton of trash taking that was surprising. He told me he wasn't use to giving reads to a guy who had side spin on putt."

That outlooked was seconded by Ramsey.
"Upon meeting Bryson, I knew that there was a gap in the public perception of Bryson and the real Bryson," Ramsay said. "He was very warm, fun, and easy to engage with. I was clearly the worst golfer of our foursome, and he took time to help me with my swing. He said, 'It's all about your radius, so I want you to show me you can hit behind the ball.' When I did that, he remarked that he could see that I had 'radius control' so he taught me to tap the ground in front of the ball before every swing; I now do this every time as I feel it helps me create the right radius.

Lol, teaching him about radius control..... Gotta love this guy. Engaging in pro am yet still himself. I'd love to play a round with him just for shits and giggles.
