Weirfan This is my perspective as well. He didn't hurt anyone, didn't cheat, didn't steal, and no one is suggesting he did. I do not care what his demeanor is as he tries to perfect his craft. On the contrary, I appreciate that anything can be frustrating to a multi-millionaire who hits a little ball around for a living. Makes him somewhat relatable. I have felt that too.
Easy to judge. Makes some feel bigger/smarter. Often best not to.
He’s got a long way to go to catch Tiger in terms of blowing up, throwing the F bomb, etc.. Give the kid a break........
He is young, tightly wired and deserves a little more patience and understanding. Tiger, Sergio, Bubba, even my fav Phil have all faltered at times. We have forgiven them and realize that character sometimes can improve in time.

Was watching one of the talking heads show on GC yesterday and they were saying that most of the tour players consider him a nice guy. They were also going down the list of all his top 10 finishes and saying that he deserves to be on the Ryder Cup team.
It's commonly accepted that the Ryder Cup is an emotionally-charged event with tons of pressure, some of the best and most seasoned Ryder Cuppers over the years have stated that it goes well above and beyond the stressors of that of a major championship.
As much potential as he has, yet based on his bipolar-like emotional mannerisms - he's still a ways away from having the type of mental control to handle that degree of pressure imo. They'd be doing this kid a favor if they didn't consider him.
The last thing he needs at this juncture of his career is more stress and scrutiny.
Give him some time to figure things out.
I always figured Bryson's ultra analytical approach meant he's a d!ck. This incident is proof. 
Not a good look for him. He took the spotlight away from the guy winning his first event in 17 years or so. Gary Player has said that Jack Nicklaus was the best loser by the way he handled himself when he lost. With so much money on the line with sponsorships etc. you'd think it would be a no brainer how to act. I guess not.
Sneakylong That is my sentiment as well. I know that the tournament was Bryson's to win, but when he didn't, the least he could do is gather himself and give the winner a hearty congratulations. If someone in his group wasn't the winner it would be a little more understandable, but when the winner is right there with you and you don't take the time for congratulations it is a very bad look, unless the guy was celebrating and trash talking him while he was slinging shots into the pond.

Many people feel that engineers are odd ducks, but as an engineer I can tell you that physics majors are the whack jobs....I say this as kindly as possible.
I sort of like that this kid uses single length irons and has memorized a book like The Golfing Machine, but a guy like that is probably never going to win over a crowd like Arnold or Phil. Usually you lock a physicist in the lab and let them go; you don't let them loose in the public lol.
Once BD figures out he does not need to act that way when things go awry, he'll be better off. Figure out a better way to release frustration and anger. If he cannot, then at least don't do it on camera. In this day in age the negative press will continue to pile on.....and take a life if its own in many instances.....ie his gear is a gimmick, he can't play, he's nuts, etc etc.

Well since he has been on tour for about two minutes vs Woods 20 some years I would think he might get worse instead of better. He is not my cup of tea and never will be. Don't know why I just can't warm up to this guy, but he is just too much to take.
Maybe part of the problem is you drink tea out of a cup. Jk.

If Hunter Mayhan was in tears over a chubbed chip shot, I can't imaging what Bryson would do in the same situation. Head explode? This game requires a HUGE ability to manage expectations and emotionally recover from bad shots. He has neither right now. He may have a short career.
