Tinker Monark golf has a True Temper shaft called inner id control at 324 inner is. That should do the trick. About 10 bucks.
Rickochet Regarding the color, no reason you can't paint a steel shaft. Just rough it up good with sanding cloth and use an automotive rattle can paint. Landon, regarding my earlier post about using a stepless Iron shaft, it could have been a longer stepless putter shaft I nibbled down to get the proper ID. The shop I bought a post head from I think sold me an Apollo 40" or 50" stepless putter shaft that I had to trim about 4" or so off of the tip then butt trim to length. It's been too long for this geezer brain to remember. ๐ด
Bankshot Rickochet Although my geezer brain is similarly afflicted, I believe I did this once too. My recollection is a VERY stiff shaft, which can be good for a putter.
Rickochet ode You can use shrink wrap to get the shaft the color you want, easy peasy lemon squeezy Great idea. Should be durable as well. ๐
ode Rickochet def.....have used on steel and graphite.....looks great and would.be perfect for a blacking out a putter shaft.....it will add ~ 20 grams or so of weight
ode LBlack14 5/8" shrink tubing, same stuff that goes over stereo wires, etc. This is what I bought, black obviously, but you can get just about any color you want, and I suspect you could get at Lowe's, etc.- Edit, see Rick's link below โฌ
Rickochet LBlack14 where you get the stuff? Here is the same company Ode linked to on ebay in a 5/8" size that he recommended. https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-8-ID-2-1-Heat-Shrink-Tubing-Polyolefin-2ft-10ft-25ft-/350766877681?var=&hash=item9061a1225c
ode Rickochet thx, LB would a been pissed when the 2" stuff didn't work too well๐ I went to the archives in eBay to find my purchase and it must have linked me to a "similar product" 5/8" is correct size!
Rickochet ode Rickochet thx, LB would a been pissed when the 2" stuff didn't work too well๐ I went to the archives in eBay to find my purchase and it must have linked me to a "similar product" 5/8" is correct size! It's dirt cheap Landon so order extra in case you F up the first try. ๐
Rickochet Bankshot Although my geezer brain is similarly afflicted, I believe I did this once too. My recollection is a VERY stiff shaft, which can be good for a putter. I am almost sure now that it was a 43" Apollo stepless putter shaft that only had about a 4" PTS.
