Shopping for some Hickory classics
Steve this kind of swing will help with hickories. It's much like Bobby Jones swing. I have used it for the past 4 seasons. The flex of hickory shafts seems to work better with this more centrifugal swing. It's called Positive Impact Golf by Brian Sparks you can do a search and get lots of info.
Do you need a pair of knickers to go with the classic clubs?

And let Spuzz pick out the color.
Size 36, with socks, please. Plaid would be nice.
sdandrea1 - dark plaid. I haven't worn them many times but they are a size 32. You look a lot smaller in your pictures. Maybe future pix shouldn't be taken with 'big guys', no?

6'0" 200 lbs. here's my candy cane pants!
sdandrea1 Steve, the hickory clubs are in my shed and we had snow last night so I didn't spend a lot of time going through them all. But here's what I saw: A couple of putters, several mashies, mid irons 3, 4, 9, 10. I know I have a couple more someplace but we just moved and everything is still packed away. If you can wait a couple days I can get you better info. All the shafts are straight although the heads do have rust on them. They are hand forged steel after all: )
sdandrea1 What happened to your NO_HO pledge? It's not even the new year yet...

Another swing many did in that era was the LCT (Lagging Clubhead Takeaway). Where you drag the handle back before the club head. Harry Vardon did it as well as Bobby Jones.
