Eguller sdandrea1 Refinishing costs more, apparently. Just heads or are you sending in the complete clubs ?
Typhoon sdandrea1 Curious how much they charge you for that work. The clubs can be found everywhere for $100. Granted for $100 they won’t look brand new like yours will but are you just going to use them or hold on to them in a collection?
sdandrea1 Eguller Just heads or are you sending in the complete clubs Complete clubs, at their request. I wanted to send heads only but they were kind of insisting. They offered me a $20 shipping label for here to Phoenix. I grabbed it.
Typhoon johnnydoom The only I’ve tried are Raptures. They are great. Like others, I’ve lusted for Beryllium Copper, but have never hit them. The Rapture J-Spec is something I used to look for. A little more players look then the standard one. Coppers… back when we had balata they really enhanced the soft feel. Now… I had a set and with todays balls they didn’t feel more soft than anything else.
sdandrea1 Typhoon I'm going to use them. My primary goal was to have PING bend them, but I figured if I'm sending them in I might as we have them refreshed. It's got nothing to do with resale or value. It's $20/club. I'll have more invested than I'll ever get in return.
fatshot sdandrea1 It's got nothing to do with resale or value. I'll have more invested than I'll ever get in return. Then.....D I B S...! ! ! 🤣 🤣
Typhoon sdandrea1 That's why I was wondering... I thought for that investment you were not going to use them, just put them away.
Par4QC Played with a couple guys today and 1 had these in the bag. May be some of the nicest looking Ping irons I've noticed.

Typhoon sdandrea1 The 431 stainless is great! Feels soft when you hit it, take a scotch rite to it and it looks like new… really incredible finish.
sdandrea1 Ynotgolf Never heard of them before now. PING ie1. 2015. Came out after the i25 and just before the i200 (2017). https://www.golfwrx.com/320438/review-ping-i-irons/
Typhoon They hold up rather well after 8 years. I hated that shade of blue so I stripped it off. Think it looks much better.
toraider Only ever played the i25s, enjoyed those for a couple years, figured the i525 should probably get a test in the future.
wishbone I have played the eye 2's, i3 blades, and S56's. From how did I play with them, i3's are the winner. But I played the S56's a number of years as well.
