The ISI is a totally different iron. IMHO... even uglier than an Eye2. The “+ no +” version of the the Eye2 is the Eye2+ model but with square grooves like the old eye 2

Here's a picture of the Ping ISI. IIRC, it was a slightly bigger head than the Eye 2, and was supposedly
Karsten's favorite model....

That is the IsI K model, which is slightly larger than the IsI. More forgiveness was the claim for the K model.

Did the ISI precede the Eye2 or was is s supposed improvement?

This is from memory, so I could be off a bit..

        1. Karsten I, II, III were first
        2. Eye
        3. Eye 2
        4. Eye 2 +no+
        5. Eye 2 +
        6. IsI
        7. IsI K
        8. ZING
        9. ZING 2
        10. Then they started the heads with the oval cavity weight, i3, i3 blade, i3 OS, i3+, i5.....the G series started sometime in there as well. I think the G2 replaced the ZING 2.

Wow, this old thread lives. FWIW I have a set of nice Ping Eye 2+ 3 thru SW orange dot that need a new home. Reamed for .370 shafts.

The only I’ve tried are Raptures. They are great. Like others, I’ve lusted for Beryllium Copper, but have never hit them.

The longest I played a set of pings about 3 years was the g10s. Also liked g25s

I've been using Ping irons for quite a few years - had a set of S56s (from new) that I used for something like 10 years, and replaced them last year with i210s.

Have G2's that I played a lot this year. Have the G irons that I just got shortened and lie adjusted. Now everyone is doing it. Also had Raptures.

sdandrea1 Sending my black dot Eye 2+ set back to PING for a bend up to blue and a retumbled/paint fill. Pics when they get back.

What's the tab on doing that per club ? Curious....

Quoted me $118 to shorten, re grip, and alter to Orange Dot for 8 clubs. That's $14.75 per. Don't know if is because I am the registered owner or not. That includes new grips.
