Typhoon As Steve would say, and I agree, their signature look was “no ferrules”. Now their irons look like everyone else’s but they are very easy to hit... that part remains.
My experience with the G400 was quite different. It wasn't about ferrules. The thinner topline look at address for me was a disappointment. They didn't have that Ping look to me. And I didn't find them as forgiving as some of the older models.
