OMG! I HATE the movie selection on Netflix. That's the main reason my wife and I got rid of it. But recently my friend said, "Hey, I know things haven't been going great for you lately and you could use a break, so why don't you just use my Netflix password for awhile." There are plenty of people who have had worse things going on than me, but, hey, I'm Scottish -- anything free is good! 😀

So, the other night we watched Lion. Wow! Great movie. Then, tonight, we watch The Dig. OMFG! Another GREAT movie. I may have to start paying for this service again!

The long and short of this message -- watch The Dig (and Lion, but I've posted about that before!) But, then, if you're into car chases and Marvel comic characters, you'll be bored stiff.

Someone suggested, "The Fundamentals of Caring" a long time ago. I re-watched it, again, with my wife and loved it as much as the first time. Great ride.

Been waiting for, "The Dig"... Started it but got interrupted. Looking forward to seeing the rest of it. Wife LOVED Lion. I haven't seen it.

Toulon I'll check out the Fundamentals of Caring.

As for The Dig, it's a great story, well acted, and the set and cinematography is really good. I love when a movie is well-shot and I'm really starting to watch for and appreciate things like the rule of thirds. Once you become aware of it, it's very fascinating to watch for.

I first started noticing that kind of thing when I was young and saw the movie the Angel Heart in the late 80s. If I recall, it was a pretty decent movie, but what I recall most about it was the number of scenes where you could have stopped the movie and the image would have made an amazing poster.

I gave up KODI awhile back, and never had a chance to see "Outlander" Season 5. Season 4 just hit Netflix, so if you want to see Season 5 for cheap, through PRIME you can get STARZ for .99 a mo/ for 3 months. I think the deal ends today.

Wife and I are finally catching up on the goings on of Sassenach, the bairn and Fraser's Ridge. Watching to see Bonnet go down. Do the deal. You ken you wanna!

Is Poldark worth hanging in on? We got thru episode 1 of season 1 and are on the fence.

Same question I have about, "American Gods" on STARZ. Just finished Ep. 1 from Season 1. Weird show.

EDIT: It's on STARZ which I view through Prime.

It's super weird. If you like weird shows, stick with it. It only gets weirder...

azgreg She loves all those period shows.

Gross. I can't imagine watching a show about women's periods.

Man, I thought I fell asleep and started a different show after the way it began compared to the middle and ending. And, what was that weird sex scene in the middle of all of it? No relation to the show whatsoever, at least in the 1st episode.

I don't mind weird as long as it makes sense. Not sure it does...yet. Will give it a few more and see what kind of draw it has on me. I assume, "Wednesday" is the devil. If he is, someone in casting ripped off "The Devil's Advocate" in casting a guy who looks like Pacino.

They took a big swing with the first episode. I'd say to stick with it for a few more then make the call.

watched it with my kids. Seasons 1,2,3 were actually quite watchable.
Yes it is geared to teenagers so juvenile.
The final season was bad and a slog.

                    Great question. Let me look...

It's on STARZ. My bad. Sorry. Hard to know sometimes with this interface that mixes content from Prime and multiple other sources, unless I hit the Starz tile.

I see you can get it for .99 for a couple of months, still, via coupon OR at starz dot com it's 5 bucks for 6 months.

Now, that I'm here, gonna watch Ep. 2

                    I enjoyed The White Tiger.

                    azgreg

Does this one get much better after watching for about 4 days?

                      Hoss7504

Oh, my goodness, Hoss. Are you kidding me? I don't know if I can keep watching a show that shows naked middle-aged men fully erect zooming through the galaxy and some whatever she is with that Roomba between her legs sucking up lesbians and anything in her path.

Lucy offering to show her boobs on TV in Walmart?

The writers were on some crazy stuff.

Weirfan The good thing was they wrapped up the series perfectly.
