The Vanished on Netflix was really something.

1st episode of the Near Death Experiences documentary, not sure of name, was fascinating.

Have recently started watching ""Designated Survivor". Some interesting parallels with today's goings on.

""Manhunt: Deadly Games"" about Richard Jewell and Eric Rudoph was fantastic. I binged watched episdoes 2-9. Couldn't get enough. Sad when it was over. Feel sick for what happened to Richard and his mom just thinking about this series. So many incredible tracks this story goes down. Not many challenge you in this way. Mentally sitmulating in so many regards.

We binge watched both of those in about 9 days. Excellent!

The Capture on Peacock is pretty damn good!

Netflix's auto preview feature is one of the most annoying things about the service. Here you are browsing for something to watch and it starts auto playing a preview as you stop on it to read the synopsis.

If you've never had the pleasure, I don't think there's a more annoying Netflix preview than this. It's so bad, I stop on it everytime I see it just to see the look on the older dude's face.

Almost ashamed to admit this, but sometimes you can hear either my wife or me singing...Ricky Baker uh, huh, huh...Ricky Baker uh, huh, huh off in another room somewhere.

I recently watched, "Radium Girls" on Netflix. Not a great movie by any means but based on a true story.

That story is horrifying. Just the typical...Don't worry it's safe when it was the exact opposite/all in the name of profit...scenario.

Those poor women were phsyically destroyed by the lies told to them. Gave them disfiguring painful deaths. Last of the Radium girls died in 2014.

OMG! I HATE the movie selection on Netflix. That's the main reason my wife and I got rid of it. But recently my friend said, "Hey, I know things haven't been going great for you lately and you could use a break, so why don't you just use my Netflix password for awhile." There are plenty of people who have had worse things going on than me, but, hey, I'm Scottish -- anything free is good! 😀

So, the other night we watched Lion. Wow! Great movie. Then, tonight, we watch The Dig. OMFG! Another GREAT movie. I may have to start paying for this service again!

The long and short of this message -- watch The Dig (and Lion, but I've posted about that before!) But, then, if you're into car chases and Marvel comic characters, you'll be bored stiff.

Someone suggested, "The Fundamentals of Caring" a long time ago. I re-watched it, again, with my wife and loved it as much as the first time. Great ride.

Been waiting for, "The Dig"... Started it but got interrupted. Looking forward to seeing the rest of it. Wife LOVED Lion. I haven't seen it.

Toulon I'll check out the Fundamentals of Caring.

As for The Dig, it's a great story, well acted, and the set and cinematography is really good. I love when a movie is well-shot and I'm really starting to watch for and appreciate things like the rule of thirds. Once you become aware of it, it's very fascinating to watch for.

I first started noticing that kind of thing when I was young and saw the movie the Angel Heart in the late 80s. If I recall, it was a pretty decent movie, but what I recall most about it was the number of scenes where you could have stopped the movie and the image would have made an amazing poster.

I gave up KODI awhile back, and never had a chance to see "Outlander" Season 5. Season 4 just hit Netflix, so if you want to see Season 5 for cheap, through PRIME you can get STARZ for .99 a mo/ for 3 months. I think the deal ends today.

Wife and I are finally catching up on the goings on of Sassenach, the bairn and Fraser's Ridge. Watching to see Bonnet go down. Do the deal. You ken you wanna!

Is Poldark worth hanging in on? We got thru episode 1 of season 1 and are on the fence.

Same question I have about, "American Gods" on STARZ. Just finished Ep. 1 from Season 1. Weird show.

EDIT: It's on STARZ which I view through Prime.

            Toulon

It's super weird. If you like weird shows, stick with it. It only gets weirder...

azgreg She loves all those period shows.

Gross. I can't imagine watching a show about women's periods.

Man, I thought I fell asleep and started a different show after the way it began compared to the middle and ending. And, what was that weird sex scene in the middle of all of it? No relation to the show whatsoever, at least in the 1st episode.

I don't mind weird as long as it makes sense. Not sure it does...yet. Will give it a few more and see what kind of draw it has on me. I assume, "Wednesday" is the devil. If he is, someone in casting ripped off "The Devil's Advocate" in casting a guy who looks like Pacino.

They took a big swing with the first episode. I'd say to stick with it for a few more then make the call.

watched it with my kids. Seasons 1,2,3 were actually quite watchable.
Yes it is geared to teenagers so juvenile.
The final season was bad and a slog.
