  • What Are Your Favorite Wedges - Component Or OEM?

Never really played OEM wedges. I do have a couple Cleveland wedges I picked up here and there, but never used them on the course. My go too for years have been Maltby wedges. They have a good selection of lofts for my preference. Currently playing a 54° Maltby wedge as I need the stronger loft for approach shots and can open it up for higher shots.

I do wish I could find a 55° PureFit IDraw wedge head. I play the 51° IDraw and sucker can put some hurt on a golf ball. I don't think they are conforming anymore, but I really don't give a crap!

TheBlade I just assumed that the TSW 58 had 8 degrees of bounce like the M-series. How much playability difference is there with 2 degrees?

Very little off the turf. I would just like a little more bounce if I needed it for bunker shots.

My best wedge ever was an old Cleveland Diadic 53 gap. Made a lot of eagles with it - thus the moniker.
Wore the beaut out. Replacement wasn't the same. 🙄

Took out my brand new maltby tsw drm 52 degree for a spin today. First swing off a tight tie a short chip, fatted it.

Next swing about 80 yrs out over a bunker, ball rolls to cup and hits pin and spins out.
All shots after that were fantastic. Easy to hit and forging feels great.

Great looking wedge head - I very tempted to pick up one. 😉

Eguller I think I have one of those in the garage someplace. A Diadic for sure, and pretty sure 53°.

Great looking head! I would the 58 in that finish and may buy the 54 as well. Even though I’ve got both in satin chrome 😂
