any plans for a 60* ?
Announcement from OMG Golf
I am just curious enough to want to try these....it might be a Xmas list thing though....I know I asked if standard weights could be an option, but remind me again if this is and could it be part of the deal or are these preassembled?
ode the standard shafts are KBS Tours Steel or Aldila NV Graphite. OMG is selling these pre assembled. The hosels are .370. I may have some other options for you. Email me at cpanther1995@gmail.com
and I'll discuss what we can do.
Weirfan It has been discussed , but no immediate plans.
Well, i just bit the bullet on these wedges thanks to you, you fricken enabler! You and your damn review with the same balls that I use at times had me convinced to give these a try. I also bought some Veylix anthem wedges on another forum so I have been going wedge crazy. Not sure why lol, as I have had no problems with my glide wedges and I really liked the wishon HM sand wedge I just bought over the summer.
Wow, quite the ringing endorsement! Once I receive and assemble them, i'll do a little head to head challenge with the glides and veylix anthems. Lets see who prevails in the wet, winter golf conditions out here in western canada!
How many of you guys use graphite in your wedges?
OMG uses Aldila NV Multi 105 Graphite. I know several people have bought these and love them. I'm trying them out myself, even thinking about going with this shaft in my next set of irons.
In the past I didn't like graphite iron shafts, always felt too light. These may be lighter than my rifles but they just feel right. The control is there too, combined with the Tille head it's an incredible combo.
Well I have always tried to support Steve in his new companies and after seeing this wedge I was not too crazy about buying one. The course I play right now has crappy bunkers. The sand is dark heavy sand that is more like bare ground, but is it usually a little wet so it has a hard mud type feel. I wonder if this wedge would be a good wedge for these conditions. I still am not crazy about the looks, but if it does the job it does not matter to me how it looks.

letthebigdogshunt actually the 1st time I took these wedges out was to a local public course that has sand traps kinda similar to what you described, not hard ground but crappy. This one the sand looks like it's mixed in with dirt. I have had problems with my Alphas in these traps in the past. My first sand attempt with tille out there went easy. Much easier than I expected. A local friend bought a set from me and hit a birdie out of the rough. He was using graphite instead of steel like I was using. The wedge does what Steve says it will.

When you used it on the bad sand trap did you use it like a normal sand shot (open face with a slice swing) or just normal as if it were a shot out of a decent lie in the fairway? Does the head take a .370 shaft of .355? The reason I ask is if I do get one since it is BOGO I would get two 56* one for me and one for my wife. I would probably end up putting in her current shaft she is using in her wedge which is a lighter graphite shaft an old Snake Eyes from back when we were using Snake Eye wedges from GS.

letthebigdogshunt .370, and yes I did a regular wedge shot. Sent you a private discussion.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a private discussion and where do I find it?
A private discussion is a thead only members selected to be in it can see. On this case ours is in the buy sell area, only you and I can see it.
I think OMG made great choices using the KBS Tour Steel Shaft and my new suprise favorite NV Multi 105. Both shafts work great, and I'm saying this after using Rifles for 8 years total.
What are your favorite wedge shafts?
cpanther1995 What are your favorite wedge shafts?
Harrison Stepless steel were my favs, after Rifle 6.0
I still have a couple of Mercury Savage steels in play as well.
Those Harrison Stepless shafts were nice.
I heard a rumor they were actually made by FST for Harrison. Don't know if that was true or not.
Do you guys use the same flex in your wedges as in your irons, or do you go down a flex or up a flex?
I have always used the same shaft in all of my irons. I know various companies offer "wedge" shafts but I have never tried them. FST and KBS offer their Hi Rev steel wedge shafts that supposedly launch the ball higher with more spin.
