The "I want the paycheck, but don't want to work for it" generation

Don't disagree with the observations, but don't let it discourage you if you have kids or grandchildren. Help them realize if they are willing to work hard it will pay off. But, working hard is also working smart. So get a good education and focus on learning, not just getting grades. Then view that degree as simply a door to help you take the next step and then the next and ......

My dad taught me the value of working hard, I passed it on to my children. Frankly, it was seed that sprouted. They are not alone, there is a minority of youth today that do work and apply themselves. What I see is they are rewarded way beyond what was available when I was a kid. A young executive who is really willing to work hard has incredible opportunity. Companies are digging hard to find leadership and promising young adults to lead them into the future.

I may be a lot of things, but it when it comes to this, I am far from ignorant. You can choose to hide under your rock if you like and ignore what's real life, but I live in the real world. You and your other identity can choose to act ignorant if you like.

I'm curious to know what's so wrong with your quality of life that you'd be so angry and so looking for a scapegoat. As for just one example: how's it going filling the tank of your pick-up. Not so bad recently eh?

No offense to the folks who are actually blind, but you, obviously, are too far gone to see.

Not too bad now that he's on his way out and the prices are getting back to where they were before he took office. Typical I think.

professor and Obama has NOTHING to do with the current price of gas, NOTHING. The relief you feel at the pumps has been based on decisions made at the state and local levels.

Quite frankly, the only thing he has done was push a garbage healthcare bill through that has made the entire system worse. He has also increased the racial tension in this country exponetially while he and his wife take overly lavish trips all over the globe. Don't get me started on his support of military deserters and his disrespectful lack of attendance the funerals of a chief justice and a former first lady.

I do give our President this, I admired his courage and the great effort for trying to change and push through major events in the history of this Nation all in 8 years ( actually 6 if you count the last 2 years as cooling down/ monitoring period ).

Sometimes I wonder why ?
Was it because he felt the pressure of doing all this by himself because he could not trust anyone else to carry on the torch ? Or because he wants to leave his name in History not only as the first minority President of the Nation but also as a mover and shaker to bring about new changes ?
Time and Time again, from dealing with the domestic and the foreign policy , negotiations, our President lack the skill needed to have the job done. He got the points across alright, but he ended up chasing the basket ball over the sideline instead of down the court.
Great effort, no one I had observed tried as hard as our President. Only if he had the right approach to have things done rather than having things done his way.

Things wouldn't and couldn't change over night and if being forced, the system will break.

It's like removing a shaft from the head, proper heating/equipment and patience needed to do the job. If time does not allow the completion of the job, at least prep for the next step.
Removing the expensive graphite shaft without warming up the hosel properly and using a crawl bar to force the head off will cause catastrophic result.

What we had experienced is truly not just this one or two "generation gap" issue. It is , the frequency of the happening.
