DC300

It and the Q star have been my go to ball of choice for a few years now. I bought some mint used Cally Chrome and Supersofts but prefer the Srixon

I am liking the b330 rxs at the moment....it's a really really good ball.....it performs.a lot like the less spinnier urethane balls....think srixon xv or even the regular b330, but not quite as firm. Spins enough on chips pitches etc., But not quite as much as the b330S or balls in that same category.

I don't mind the B330RXS. Decent ball, good quality, good value.

PA-PLAYA sorta the way I feel about it, was kinda meh, but after playing it regularly for a month or so, the results are $....doesn't wow in any one category, but good in all IMO + consistent.

Bridgestone pretty much invented the ball-fitting concept a decade or so ago, ahead of the game as far as giving different players different options as far as figuring out which models provided them optimum launch angle and spin rates, and naturally different price levels. The e-series has been a very good seller for them over the years, designed more for the mid-level player.

I prefer the RXS over the RX, as I feel that it offers a tad more green-side spin, but other than that I personally can't detect any other noticeable difference in performance between the two. The original B330 didn't do anything for me... I felt it was a "heavy" ball, similar to the premium Nike balls I've tried over the years. Maybe they were too spinny for me. Who knows...

Of note, I do love the way a Pro V1 feels on impact, but I lose distance. A soft cover 2 piece ball is right for this geezer.

I played the ProV1 for quite a few years until my SS told me I needed a lower compression ball. Right now I am trying a Wilson Duo @ 29 compression. It feels nice of the clubs and putter, but the feel is almost like hitting a marshmallow. Not sure this one is for me. I gave one to my wife to try and she did not like it either. Perhaps I will try it again come winter time. Still have a couple dozen Srixon ZStar sl in yellow that I have to finish off before getting serious about a new ball this summer come late July perhaps.

I've tried doing ball fittings on the GC2 here at work and everything is so close. I just play prov 1 or the X... not a noticeable difference for me. I have 9 million of them at home too since my parents live alongside a fairway so they keep giving me them.

Shot a 92 yesterday with a Nike RZN-Black from LostGolfBalls.com. Decent feel. Spin didn't seem all that high around the green. I'm gonna try to RZN-Platinum the next time I play.

I've got some ProV1 (no x) PRACTICE balls that were given to me by the pro here at the course on base that he said came from the course where the U.S Open was played in the Philly area a few years ago. Not sure what era they're from... 2014, maybe...

          You will like those.

Spuzz if pro V1,s are a must, the practice or xout is a good route to take....have bought before and they look unblemished to me or you really have to inspect to see any imperfections.

I won a dozen TM Project (a) balls last month - just put them in the bag - have no idea what to expect, I'll find out on Monday.

I found a b330 rx with the big B logo on it and used it for 14 holes....have wanted to compare directly to the RXS and got my wish...almost played it mistakingly from the rough on hole 3 as it was right in line with where my tee ball ended up and the dimples were the same, but the big B was a dead give away....they feel similar, I want to say the RXS feels slightly softer even though it's slightly firmer compression wise, but with a softer cover. I was a few yds longer off the tee...had no problems controlling it in the wind...yesterday was really windy and had a good sample of holes down, into, and cross. Can't say much about green side spin until I play on a calm day....but this is a contender.
