scotts33 I have maybe 8 different brands/types of ball right now. 2pc. to 5 pc.. All types of covers on them. I'll play them all in a season at some point. I do have my favorite, but that doesn't mean I will play them every round.
Same with equipment. I have several types/brands of irons, FW clubs, and esp. drivers. Again, I have my favorites, but will play them all at some point during each season. And I will get rid of some, buy more.
I will generally shoot with 2 strokes no matter what I take out, as far as clubs and balls. I'll hit some balls farther with some clubs, some shorter with other clubs. Mix them up, load my bag, and scores are much the same. 20year old clubs, brand new clubs. 20 year old balls, new balls.
You are barking at the wrong tree here. I am proud of what I can do, and also very amused by it at the same time.
Everyone says golf is hard, but am I the only one to say how much damn fun it is every round??? I've never left a course pissed off about how I hit any shots, or even what I scored.
And it would be so damn boring using the same clubs/balls every round that I would just puke. ๐คฃ
Don't get hung up on numbers.....esp. when they (in reality as I've shown) mean little.... to a lot.
