im assuming UPS dings PS and PS hella dings you. Happened once with USPS and PayPal/ShipStation. I called and would not get off the phone until they reversed the charges.

One time someone shipped something to me from out West and they (UPS shipper/access points) measured the box over 48" and charged the seller a lot more than if it were 48" or under. I measured with my bench ruler and it was under 48", I called the UPS affiliate and complained, got their email and sent them pics. No response. What they said over the phone was that the box dimensions listed on the box are "inner dimensions".

    Yep, I learned to take pictures of the dimensions and weight of every golf box going to UPS. They seem to flag anything over 45" and say it is over 48" which requires oversize charges.

    Luckily, the appeal through PirateShip is easy. Load up the pics and submit. I've won the appeal every time so far.

    Note - I now have a folder on my hard drive with pictures of a 46x6x6 box (against a 48" ruler), and half a dozen pictures with a golf box at different weights. So I don't have to take new pictures every time.

        I've read this whole thread, shaking my head.
        It's bad enough people are getting hit with 'irregular' shipping charges, but the worst thing I'm taking away from this is.....everyone hates their drivers!! Apparently, they are being cast aside like rotten mulch, in the Spring.

        If this is overcharging is prevelent, perhaps a class action lawsuit is warranted. Anyone know a lawyer?
