I live in an older subdivision that was started in the 60's. It is very nice and quiet and we have lived here 38 years and have never had any issues to date. Recently we had a house 3 doors down the street sell. The residents were a a pain in the ass and the house looked like a junk yard. They finally moved out and the house sold. The house was cleaned up a bit and sold sign removed. Going by the house this morning there was a city Animal Control truck in front. Later today I get a call from a neighbor who told me that the house had 6 pit bulls in the yard and they got loose. No one has moved into the house but it is full of dogs. Two neighbors got bitten. The city hauled off 6 male pit bulls but left two females in the house with 14 puppies. Pit factory maybe?
Tomorrow we have a neighbor meeting to see what we can do to nip this in the bud. Our neighborhood has geezers and people walking the streets every night with children. I hate to think I will have to start packing to be able to take my little dog out at night.
