I'm out. ☺ Purdue shot the ball so well in the first half that their offense was unstoppable. Iowa State made a great comeback but fell just short.

The NW and Iowa St. comebacks were fun to watch, even though they both fell short.

I begrudgingly picked that on my bracket. No denying it, U of M is on fire.

Hoss7504 good chance to go to the elite 8....I thougot it was a good matchup for Michigan with the way they shoot it....big run towards the end of the game, b1g with a solid showing so far, Michigan St playing solid vs. Kansas, so far.

Kansas was just too much for them in the end. State looked tired towards.the end.

Hoss7504 I went to the kitchen to make some chix salad and came back to a 20 pt lead....I thin it was at 9 when I left.

Two big upsets brewing right now.

Games today have been really good....Oregon survives over RI, but barely.....and UNC and Baylor slugging it out

This tournament has been really entertaining so far. I feel like the games are better this year than in previous years.

Top to bottom I definitely agree. But, I miss the buzzer beaters - last second shots for the win that go down. The agony of defeat. That seems to be lacking this year but there are still a lot of games left with most of those too close to call there is so much parity.

There are officially 1 mid majors left, being cinci who is in action vs. UCLA as I type this...I suppose you could make the case Xavier is or was, but they are big league now that they are in the big east.....and cinci is hardly an unknown, they have been a good basketball school for long time, going back to Bob Huggins....,and they were in the Big East for several years until the league disbanded a few years back. Point being every team in the sweet 16 plus the current game yet to decide the last team in, are frombig boy conferences or are big time basketball ball schools. I suppose Xavier is a Cinderella being an 11 seed, other than that no Cinderellas....interesting tournament so far.

And although Duke busted my bracket, couldn't be happier to see them out. Hasta la vista

Wichita State would no doubt be still alive if they hadn't been set up to play a 2 seed in the second round. SMU was a disappointment. They had enough talent to do better. Beat Cincinnati twice this season.

I had smu going to the e8....in fact I have no teams left in the east, 2 in the west, and all teams left in the MW and South🙂

Thrilled that Bucky moved on, even though I did not Homer pick them over Nova, and also thrilled that Duke lost, even though I picked them to win it all.....note to self, don't ever pick duke, every time I do they fuk me! Can't wait for next Thursday.

My guys stuck with Kansas for 3/4 of the game. The better team simply won. They did themselves proud. It just leaves me wondering how good we would have been if Josh Jackson had chosen State. Oh well, we'll be back next year.

Let's go Wildcats! clap, clap, clap clap clap.

Gotta love chalk on the right side of the bracket, less Michigan.

          And how about conf. Representation-

Mid major-1 Gonzaga, still a power house IMO
          B1G-3
          ACC-1
          Pac12 -3
          SEC-3
          Big East-2
          Big 12-3

That is some balance right there.

If the NCAA/NBA joined forces and came out with a much-needed rule stating that a new recruit has to spend at least 3 years in college before turning professional - you'd see a lot less parity imo.

So although I personally loath this one-and-done bullshit era, it has ultimately made the NCAA tournament a lot more unpredictable.
