darpar I did watch the women's 4x100. Had to watch it 3-4 times. Could not believe, for maybe the 1st time ever, seeing those perfect exchanges.

These 4 guys should have been left in the kennel. Dogs!!

They know how to run. But not in a baton relay.

darpar The US men need to learn how to run a relay

I just watched a replay of the women’s Breaking gold medal match won by Japan. Break dancing seems like a strange addition, but is every bit as athletic and artistic as long accepted Olympic competitions. Not something I’d want to watch repeatedly, but as someone who has never paid attention to it before I was pretty fascinated. The announcer said they aren’t going to continue it in the 2028 games though.

Grant Fisher wins Bronze in the 5000 and 10000 meter races with great sprints at the end.

Edit: USA women's soccer win Gold, well played game.

darpar Curry just bailed out the US against France for another gold!

I think he was 4 for 4 from beyond the arc in the last 3-4 minutes.....!!!

As soon as I heard they were appealing Chiles score,I knew they were opening a BIG can of worms.
Made the US look like a bunch of whiners, felt bad for the girl who thought she'd won bronze.

darpar From the read of it, it looks like there is a reversal going to take place.

I just watched a bit of the Braking "competition." This is an Olympic competition? What's next?

Rickochet Don't worry. They have already said that it won't be continued in 2028. So I guess it was one and done.

Having said that, I watched about 45 seconds of one guy and essentially he was doing the exact same thing the gymnasts do on the pommel horse, but on the ground, instead.

I really don't get the pommel horse. I mean, I guess they could all get medals for not killing the family jewels on that thing, but really... what is the point? whose idea was it?

Had to Google it. Now I kinda wish I hadn’t. Life was better prior to wasting that minute and devoting the six brain cells required for storing the memory.

That’s the Olympic spirit. The judges screwed up, but because it was not pointed out to them until four seconds beyond an arbitrary established time period, the competitor loses. Another black eye for subjectively scored events.

I watched the men's bronze medal match and they were incredible! Better athletes than 75% of the other sports.

fatshot I think he was 4 for 4 from beyond the arc in the last 3-4 minutes.....!!!

The last one was absolutely ridiculous!

Stu1961 Lose breaking, but get to look forward to flag football in 2028. Then, maybe, ultimate frisbee in 2032, checkers in 2036, and knitting in 2040?

Pickleball in 8 years I'd guess
