Par4QC Maybe he needs to be sent a LogicalOne driver head. He'll only need the head because he can use his Callaway shafts in it.

Actually, the callaway adapters sort of fit but not really, the same way Krank and callaway are almost compatible- for me some adapters were okay and some didn't. In any case, the Krank
adapter seems to work seamlessly and I'll be putting the logicalone driver in the bag until my Callaway TD max comes in. Looking forward to playing it today and I'll report back with its performance and how it stacks up against my Tsi4 and paradym TD

From what I can tell The Southern California Design Company makes the Kirkland Signature golf clubs for Costco. The list of their clients is impressive. So the quality is there for sure. Indi Golf is a client of there’s as well.

I wonder if the Let’s Play Thru review of the SMT irons were positive, if the consensus of his opinions would be different.🤔 Sometimes the transparency is as clear as glass.🙄

Hypothetical example. Let’s Play Thru gives a glowing review of the SMT irons. Then he gives a similar positive review as Rick Shiels on the Kirkland driver.

Is the Let’s Play Thru guy still a moron? Can’t be, because then his positive review of the SMT irons comes into question. 😏 I do admire the loyalty though.👍

I think someone here bought a set of the irons, gave his glowing review and promptly sold them. 😲 Again, transparent as glass. 😉

I don’t mind the Let’s Play Thru guy reviews. Even if he kinda looks like he could be selling knives on infomercials. He seems like a decent player. I’ve never seen him hammer any brand. I think most equipment out there is pretty good these days. I’d love to see and try the Costco clubs but I’ve never encountered anyone with anything except wedges and the putter. He did one on the Maltby new irons and he really liked those.

Sneakylong FWIW, I'm not knocking his review of the driver at all. But I do question(highly) where he gets any similarity of the head vs. the Mizuno.
If there would be any visual comparison that 'might' be close, it would be with a Titleist driver head. And even that might be stretching it.

imo, it is an original design, not a copy of anything. That I've seen anyway, and I think I may have seen most all drivers so far.

rsvman2 Even the adapters, which he is so sure of, is not even a close resemblance to each other.
And I would never use an adapter in a driver unless it is specified for that exact head.

a jackass is a jackass and said jackass' opinion means nothing, regardless.
this applies to let's play thru and any minions he may have.

          Spuzzervation or Spuzzerfactoid? 🤣

Par4QC it's click bait. Now whether he is intentionally being deceitful re the KSig being a "clone" (his words, I doubt he actual knows the difference between counterfeit, clone, open model) of the Mizzy or is he truly just that ignorant🤔

My nephews first thought was it looked like a Titleist. It is an original design from Southern California Design Company.

If you had a boat load of money you could go to them and they could do all facets of making a golf club. From design to manufacturing to marketing.

rsvman2 Agreed. It might be a great driver, but it is by no means the same as the Mizuno

Performance wise it is. I think the takeaway from Let’s Play Thru and Rick Shiels is that the quality and performance of the Kirkland is there for a third of the price of the main OEM’s.

sdandrea1 He's one of the leaders in the category of YouTube "blah, blah, blah".

Same as golf forums. Blah, blah, blah. lol YouTube is a fantastic medium. You can find all kinds of things of interest. From nonsense to informative. From Penny the talking cat to the rise and fall of the third reich, to how to fix things. They all want clicks and likes. It’s how they make money.

Totally agree, and I stand by my statement that that clown is a blah blah KING.

I use YouTube frequently for home, car repairs and maintenance, guitar lessons, etc. It's a gold mine. I'm just not impressed by this particular Tuber.

That's fine you don’t like his personality. His results were the same as Shiels. I bet dollars to donuts that (again) had he given the SMT irons a positive review you wouldn't see anywhere near the vitriol against his videos like you're seeing here now.

Back in the early days of FGI the late Steve Almo private messaged me and told me what was what. So just know that a lot of this is baked in over many years. You dare go against the grain, certain people will come out of the woodwork.

FGI was a huge component site back then. If you liked OEM's you were told to get on the bus or get run over by it. lol That bus is now all rusted out and in a junk yard somewhere. lol But old habits die hard.
