My buddy has played his new AI Smoke Max a few rounds and he is definitely hitting it better than his M6. He's got it set to full draw and his ballflight is almost dead straight compared to the big slice he hit regularly. When he was on he could hit a nice power fade with the M6, but that was not most rounds.

My AI Smoke Max is due to arrive later today. Will probably not get a chance to hit it until maybe Sunday. Not sure I can hit driver much better than I have been with the Rogue ST Max, but we'll see.

Can't say if there is much diff between the Max and the TD, which I have, but this thing is (almost) incredible.
I don't miss a lot of fws any more, but this thing is such a straight shooter that I'm hitting even more. Yesterday was 12/14 and the 2 missed was when I tried a different stance; trying to get a 'pull', which used to be a normal thing with all other drivers. Plus, I'm seeing a lot more distance, up to 30 yds. on some holes. Honeymoon phase has long passed, so......
    YMMV

Eguller It's not a shaft, nor flex, I normally use, MCA Kai' li 50R. But it works so well I got one in my 3wd also, albeit the 60R. Not sure that was the right choice(yet).
That said, I did use the HOF Quicksilver A flex 1 round and had similar results. So imo, it is most likely the head itself. It is only a 450cc head, but looks even smaller at address.....no 'pancake' look to it. More old school look, but not the pear-shaped heads of yesterday.
Trust me when I say I have had some bad, if not horrible, hits on this thing. And still the ball(sometimes) ended up in unfamiliar spots in the fw!

I sent Jake a pic the other day while I was playing. Told him I was getting tired driving so far to hit my 2nd shots! 🤣

Par4QC I was interested in the TD, but Cally did not have them in stock and they would not do the 2X trade with anything out of stock. When I was in the golf store demoing the various Smokes, I liked the TD Max and Max D the best of them all, but neither were available so I went with the Max.

Yeah, I don’t keep that close of an eye on eBay these days. Just know prices have skyrocketed for new stuff. My nephew said they get high prices for used stuff. I did buy a new putter this year, but had gift cards that covered it.

For my swing speed equipment has maxed out. I’ve spent a small fortune the last 24 years since I got back into golf. Probably needlessly. Shot one of my best rounds at Fox Hollow (par 71) with Ping G15 irons (2009) and a Cobra Amp Cell driver (2013).

Still have those although they’ve been retired for awhile. It seems as though Costco can’t keep up with demand. Costco is the biggest seller of wine. Seems if the wanted to they could do the same with golf clubs.

The average price of a bottle of wine is ~ $10.00. Golf clubs are way too expensive.

Sneakylong The average price of a bottle of wine is ~ $10.00.

I'm guessing you are factoring in 2 Buck Chuck and Boone's Farm? At least spend $20 and get something drinkable 😉

          KCee Boone's Farm

          😲surely not $10!!????

Just a mere 53 years ago it was only $1.

I remember Keven O’Leary on Shark Tank saying that the average was ~ $10.00. That was my reference. My wife’s boss always gave us a bottle of red wine at Christmas. He’s a member of a wine club.

I’ll drink white or red, but my wife just likes white. We usually drink Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio. Usually what’s ever on sale at Publix. When I was still working we did splurge on Moët and Chandon White Star champagne. 👍

Not a wine expert, but my experience has been wine is like vodka. The smoother the better. I think Grey Goose distills their vodka 6 times and Tito’s does as well. Both are very smooth. My favorite vodka is a potato vodka Chopin. Very smooth as well. I’m an extra, extra dry (no vermouth) martini drinker so like it smooth.

Used to be a Gin martini drinker (Beefeater or Tanqueray). Too much gin can make you see pink elephants though. Lol Like a Crown Royal manhattan as well. But only in the winter. Brown liquor warms you up. In the summer here in Florida we’re warm enough.😎

Sneakylong oh you know we need the low down on this bad boy. I would trust what you say 1000 percent more than WRXers. I can’t wait. Most I’ve seen at my Costco is wedges and putters and that’s been a while

Sneakylong nothing against Grey goose, I just have found that I prefer Jewel of Russia Ultra for the expensive stuff, and I don't think one can go wrong with Stoli for budget.
Mine lives in the freezer. I have yet to try titos, heard good things about it.

backinit Supposedly Mizuno adapters work with that.

I think my nephew said he has the option of changing the loft up or down 1 degree. He put it down 1 at 9.5 degrees. It'll be interesting how it performs for him. His swing speed is ~ 109 mph and he got the stiff. No extra stiff offered.

backinit Tried to find the source of their adapter, good to know about Mizuno. One source indicated Tour Edge Exotic. I ordered one with Reg flex but the order now shows Stiff. Need a different shaft.

Bravopilot I'm going by a youtube review so take it for what it's worth.

Mizuno adapters should be all over Ebay. I had to do a reshaft for a friend a while back and I think that adapter came from Ebay.

                  Spuzz not that jackass again!
                  good grief

😂😂😂😂. That dude could add drama to watching paint dry. 😂

He could have a career on The Weather Channel.
