Not in any COSTCO store I've been in or on-line. No irons, wedges or putters either.

I've never seen the driver in either Costco near me. I did finally see the wedges and putter a while back. Usually they just have balls and gloves.

ode where are these to be bought?

My nephew bought it at Costco online.

ode ok....assuming they've been long gone online, but

He just bought it online Tuesday. Said it arrives tomorrow. He just checked and it says all out of stock. Must've got the last one. lol

Played with my coworker yesterday. He’s not good I think he shot 112 but not because of his drives really. It’s 100 yards in where he falls apart. His driver is an old Taylormade R7 425. He hits it around 200 yards average sometimes he hits it maybe 220. Until yesterday he’s hit nothing else. I let him hit my paradym a couple times and my ping g400 max. His big fade straightened out and was noticeably longer. The 4 drives were at least 220. They still faded a tad right into the rough. I think he wants the ping lol. He can’t have mine though. It’s my 3rd one and I’m keeping it. So I would say if your driver is 20 years old you should see a bump in distance. In his case 20 yards or so. His normal good drive that goes 220 is maybe one every other round. He hit all 4 that well with both modern drivers.

Nice set of clubs for ~ $1000 dollars. Next up some fairway woods. I remember when the ball came out they said that Costco bought something from TaylorMade. A patent or ball manufacturing facility etc., don't remember exactly.

So basically it's a TaylorMade ball.

The irons look similar to TaylorMade's P790's. Is the issue they can't keep up with demand or they've only made a certain amount and that's it? Golf equipment prices have gotten way out of sight for many golfers.

My nephew tells me even used clubs on eBay are crazy. Golf got lucky benefitting from the pandemic. The game was in decline. If golf clubs and greens fees keep going up they could kill the golden goose that fell in their lap.

If a person is wanting to buy new, there are plenty of really good bargains out there. The buys just have to be a couple years old. And not a thing wrong with that as, imo, there is just not a huge enough difference in the past 2-3 years. Esp. with irons. 2 year old drivers right now are plain ol' dirt cheap, esp. Cobras, and they always perform. Iron sets can be had for under 500. Wedges under 100. So, can still get brand new, name brands, for under 1000/set up.

Can't just open up the wallet and start throwing $$ at things without doing research. Otherwise, yes, 1000 will not go far at all; 2000 will not. "Shopping"......is key.😉

My buddy has played his new AI Smoke Max a few rounds and he is definitely hitting it better than his M6. He's got it set to full draw and his ballflight is almost dead straight compared to the big slice he hit regularly. When he was on he could hit a nice power fade with the M6, but that was not most rounds.

My AI Smoke Max is due to arrive later today. Will probably not get a chance to hit it until maybe Sunday. Not sure I can hit driver much better than I have been with the Rogue ST Max, but we'll see.

Can't say if there is much diff between the Max and the TD, which I have, but this thing is (almost) incredible.
I don't miss a lot of fws any more, but this thing is such a straight shooter that I'm hitting even more. Yesterday was 12/14 and the 2 missed was when I tried a different stance; trying to get a 'pull', which used to be a normal thing with all other drivers. Plus, I'm seeing a lot more distance, up to 30 yds. on some holes. Honeymoon phase has long passed, so......
              YMMV

Eguller It's not a shaft, nor flex, I normally use, MCA Kai' li 50R. But it works so well I got one in my 3wd also, albeit the 60R. Not sure that was the right choice(yet).
That said, I did use the HOF Quicksilver A flex 1 round and had similar results. So imo, it is most likely the head itself. It is only a 450cc head, but looks even smaller at address.....no 'pancake' look to it. More old school look, but not the pear-shaped heads of yesterday.
Trust me when I say I have had some bad, if not horrible, hits on this thing. And still the ball(sometimes) ended up in unfamiliar spots in the fw!

I sent Jake a pic the other day while I was playing. Told him I was getting tired driving so far to hit my 2nd shots! 🤣

Par4QC I was interested in the TD, but Cally did not have them in stock and they would not do the 2X trade with anything out of stock. When I was in the golf store demoing the various Smokes, I liked the TD Max and Max D the best of them all, but neither were available so I went with the Max.
