LBlack14 Been on them for years Unc. I'm prepared for a change.

It will not only mess up your B.M. , it'll mess up your whole body and especially between your ears.
Get rid of it as soon as you can.
My surgeon made a comment to my family that I was unnecessarily being tough to take only half the prescribe dose after my surgery and winged it off 2 weeks before the average . But I know it's bad for my system, a little pain is better than taking the opioids more than you need.
You had been on it for a long time , seek help if you have difficulty rid of it.

It's great that you "pulled the trigger" and got it done. Now, pay attention to the therapists and you'll be back on the course before you know it. Good luck to you in recovery mode.

    Release

Yep -that stuff is bad juju. I quit the Percocet 3 days after my knee replacement last Nov. The Euphoric pain-free naps were nice, but I get the shakes from that crap, anxiety, compulsive club ho-ing.....................

Take your prescribed med. No need to tough it out in the first week after the surgery.
Did they say when to start the rehab ?

Take the pain meds. Pain puts stress on the heart and you don't need that now. I hope you're out there collecting birdies by May.

Had my last PT session here at the hospital a few minutes ago, gonna be heading home later. Will have, at home, PT for 2 weeks then rehab after that.

Sounds like things are going well. As with any limb surgery it is very important to do the prescribed PT to get back your full range of motion and strength. Good luck on the rehab Landon.

Speedy recovery, LB! Glad things (seemed) to have gone well without issue!

Praying for a quick, pain-free rehab process for you!

I want to thank all y'all for the well wishes here and via text. It really does mean alot to me. In home PT starts this afternoon around 3:30.

Happy things went well. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and return to the game.

Great time, enjoy the stretching and the "soreness"........you should feel much relaxed afterward.

Get better soon Landon! Hopefully you'll be able to get some decent rounds in this year.

You'll be back in no time......do all the PT ! Good luck with the rehab.

He better because this 155 lber will come and TRY to kick his ass.

Don't think I could miss the target, but I would enjoy the attempt, and the Lord knows We would enjoy the hugs afterward.

Get a good nights sleep LB. 😉
