Had my reigns jerked back today by my normal PT Lady today, who I absolutely adore! Told me I was moving waaaay too fast and not taking my posterior restrictions (no bending beyond 90°, no crossing left of center with my right leg, no turning my foot right or left, always keep my toes square witg my shoulders and more) serious. When I was outside seeing my OP off and my PT saw me without my walker, she let me have it. I have friends/next door neighbors who have had her with knee replacements and they adore her as well. That's all the reference I need. She doesn't pull any punches and actually broke me down, she cares. Also found we have long time, mutual friends. She asked me if I'd ever met someone who in, literally a few minutes, you felt like you'd known them forever? She said "I feel like that right now", "kindred spirits". She ordered me to keep up on my excercises, ice, elevate and actually, but "be lazy and don't rush" compared to what I was doing. "Don't rush, give yourself time to heal". "Always use your walker!" She said posterior replacement can dislocate in an instant and then I'm screwed (she actually used the word that's more common in my vocab). When she left, I felt like I just met a person who cares as much about me as anyone else in my life. Very comforting and reassuring.
Mike (Braveheart), she reiterated everything you told me, thank you.
I feel much better having her and I was pretty confident before, I think.
