Had 2 455db, nothing special for me. Worst driver was the funny shaped Tour Swing. May have been the shaft (Epic), but it was noticeably lacking distance no matter how good I felt I hit it. Hated the Infiniti AW wedges. Worst feeling anything I ever hit.

    Typhoon

I have some older golf clubs from the 40's through the 70's, like most of them, still.

    LBlack14

The ones that got away. Those P2's were a nice design.

I hit the same good swing on the Tour Swing 5n2 down the pipes as my Ashton X-1 and was baffled. Turns out that some things are better than others?

Here is a question. Does anybody still have a 5n2? What happened to all the things we shared?

      Release
I would only take the heads and would pay for shipping.
Let me know if you ever decide to part with them...

Alpha 400cc 10.5 driver Recoil 50 shaft, KZG 14 degree SP700 with evolution shaft ( my 2 wood) Mars Cydonia 5 wood, LaJolla Knife irons with loonies shafts, Snake Eyes lob wedge, Dynacraft Genesis putter, star smoothie grips, honorable mention Stulz Arrow shaft. Worst driver Wilson Invex, worst hybrid, any of them, worst irons any with a ton of offset.

      Things i hated:
      Driver...cant think of one really
Fw...Alpha v5 3 wood AND 5 wood. If they set up any more closed i swear the ball would have hit my forward leg.
Irons..had a set of taylormade mc/cb but i think it was the pxi shafts

That's why I'm not crazy about hybrids. I must have a dozen and they all look like they point to left field

        drunkb

Retired those as well as my Maxflis (still have them though)
        Playing Snake Eyes 600xc now.

304 Steel and soft but you had to hit them in the sweet spot, Mr. Stonehands.
        lol

Hybrids...hated every one of them. Hook machines. I gave the old Taylormade one to a guy i golfed with and it was his favorite club.

He told me i could have it back when he died.

They buried him with that, his driver and putter.

            Typhoon

            LOL,

They said to hit the hybrids like an iron, there is much truth in the statement.
I stand taller when I play a hybrid club, results are better. and a heavier shaft that you could handle is always better than the OEM set up.
The original Taylormade hybrids were the ones that rejuvenated the hybrid kind some years ago, they are awesome with the steel shafts.

I had an Aldila nvs105x in it. Al died this past year at 91 years old. X flex...he could hit it and he was smaller than me.

My fitter told me the lie angle on hybrids is the problem... Too upright thats why i hook them.

The Ping g25 hybrid looks good to me. Thats the only one i'd be willing to try again but im all set using fw's and long irons

Yes, so are most of the fairway woods, way too up right for a sweeping swing arc.
Find a fitter whom has the tools to bend a hybrid hosel. I had one bent 3° flatter than the OEM set up.

In high school, I sometimes got to play with my Dad's Haig Ultras. Picked up my own used set around 1980. Loved those clubs.

It would be hard to say what the best clubs would be. If it means playing the best golf then it would be my clubs back in 1994 when I carried a 5 handicap. But in truth were they the best or was it just I played really well back then. If they were the best why then did I get rid of them.

Took this one step further recently with my hybrids and driver and went out and found some used ones and put them back in the back.
